MH 1 is good, but e cost for wepons and getting materials is retarded hard, mast MH 1 and you cna beat any of the newer MH series
(i suggest you master the attack and roll strategy if you're going to play blademaster. )

although, i doubt you'll find many cheats and tips on MH now since it's basicly outdated, but no worries, i too bought a used MH 1 without the manual, it's easy to get the hang of though.

you should go on gamefaqs.com, just search monster hunter. they loads of guides there, including weapon trees which should help.

MHF2 or MHF2ndG is better...play it instead of MHF1.

Mh1 is very old school and is the original most weapon list work ok
