Caedeus Fight

Just started the fight against Caedeus for the first time.  I'm using a Great Sword.  Any thoughts from people who've fought him?  What's the best way to go about this fight?

Just keep sticking to him and hitting him as much as possible. Aim for the beard, too. Mega Dash Juice will help out greatly when in the first two areas.

In the third area, when he goes into rage mode (red lights), head for the Dragonator. It's a scripted behavior that will end with him swimming down low, around for a bit, then right up alongside the Dragonator. Aiming carefully enough, you can snap his horn with it too.

His beard and chest are his weakest areas, in that order. However, in order to beat the cedeaus the very first time, you just have to break his horn. Eventually he will ... I will not spoil it.

Okay. I made it to the last area against him, but I'm having trouble finding the Dragonator. Where is it?

Look for a huge red button on the cliffs, Swim up, and look down, it will be hard to miss. Under the red button you will see spikes. Those are the dragonator. They shoot out and injure whatever is in front of them.

Took him down. It took three attempts at the fight, but I did it. The first time, using the Great Sword I didn't do enough damage to push him back into the third area. I switched to my regular weapon, Dual Blades (specifically Rathian) and pushed him back there the first time. I broke off his big horn, but didn't make him run off. On the third attempt, about five minutes into the fight he was done.

That swim back to the third area takes FOREVER!!!

When you progress the area's the rocks around the base camp vanish, when he's in the the third area, the part near the mountain, on the side with the item box, right next to the huge mountain side, is a jump point, puts you end of area 2.

Well Ceadeus isn't that hard as long as you break the beard and the horns. After that it's only doing enough damge for him to die and/or run away... Oh you already beat him?
