Looks like a great monster to fight. Kinda like a Sand Barioth/Alareon hybrid. I like that he's not overly massive, because Alatreon's size was the reason I hated fighting him so much.

More like ala was a hybrid of every elder dragon prior to tri not including chameleos. Sorry I get pretty anal when they make that comparison of ala and kushala daora xD considering kushala came first the sand bari part I can agree with it seems to picked up some moves from it.

I understand what you mean, and I didn't intend to sound ignorant. I just assume (wrongly) that most people are like me and never even heard of Monster Hunter until Tri, so I describe it from that perspective.

Yes, I understand that Alatreon is an amalgamation of Kushala, Teostra, Kirin and maybe others and that all those came first.
