the grind on MHFU is f*****g real. I've recently been playing a new file on MHFU with a friend of mine. I forgot how non-noob friendly this game is compared to MH3U. Everything requires so much work IMO, and it makes it so fun ^.^ I'm currently at HR4 grinding Kushala for his set. I blasted my way so far with HBG and GS. But I'm broke as shit right now, and when I mean broke I seriously was a 8z. You also know your broke when you can't even post a quest because you don't have 500z lmao.

MHFU is much more rough around the edges than anything beyond Tri as the overall difficulty curve was much stricter. Also, it was ridiculously hard to solo, compared to MHP3rd which can be done solo very easily (including guild quests) The grinding could also be ruthless even early on. (e.g on a old save file I was trying to get low rank Luna armour and couldn't get fire dragon webbings for shit)

I'm thinking of re-visiting MHFU as I need something to do over the summer holidays and I have no motivation to play anything else.

Try grinding for a full Silver Los set which needs 5 fucking rubies and getting one ruby takes like 7 fucking fights...
