Gigant Launcher Armor Sets

I'm using gigant launcher with power barrel on and thinking whether I should removed the limiter as well since it grants a tremendous damage boost to the gun itself. But i wont be able to crouch fire flame shots nor freeze shots anymore is it worth?

Regarding the armor sets I ain't sure what to get but reload speed sounds nice?
since it's has slow reload speed otherwise damage wise skills?

Remove the limiter, since that isn't the final upgrade of that weapon path you want to do more damage. I would only use normal shots on that gun, it has a decent size Normal Lvl2 clip and a very nice Normal Lvl3 clip. The gun will be even better when you upgrade it to Gigant Launcher. Worry about elemental shots when you have the Altheos Aetheria HBG, or LBGs.

Armor sets wise, Rath Soul is always a good basic set as it gives CE+2, Normal S Up, and Earplugs. You can easily gem in more damage skills. If you want Reload Speed that's entirely up to you. Even though the recoil is slow on that gun, if you can time your reloads then it wont be an issue. But if you find yourself in sticky spots when you reload, go for it.

thanks for the great information it's the final upgrade anyway I would like to know if I'm using normal 3 shots should I stand closer to the monster so the bounce damage would hit more? Otherwise normal 2 does a more consistent damage wise?

I tried solo-ing a G rank gigginox with the gun but it takes around 25 mins to do so even though the limiter is removed.

Idk why I thought I was talking about the Gigant Cannon xD Using Normal Lvl2 first for monsters on land would be best. Normal Lvl 2 does more raw than 3. But if you're underwater Normal Lvl will always ricochet.

Seems like a pretty decent set. Normal Up is a key skill to have for Normal S gunning. Evade Extender is an awesome defensive skill, and Weakness Exploit works well if your aim is good to hit the respective hitzones to get the most out of it.
I use Challenger+2, Normal S Up, Critical Eye+3, and

Critical Eye+2, Normal S Up, Weakness Exploit, and Evade Extender.

weak zone as in the part takes 45 damage or more with gunning?
for example a nargacuga heads takes 45 damage from gunning does that mean it is the weak zone for weakness exploit to shine?

Yeah, you won't benefit from that skill otherwise. Most monsters weak spots are pretty accessible.
