MH4U Armor Set Compilation

We already have a thread for requesting an armor set, but we have none where there are a bunch of compiled armor sets.

So here it is. The way this will work is we will have armor sets for each weapon type, and those will be sub-divided into low rank, high rank and g-rank.

To make things easier for me (since I'm the one that will have to compile all of the sets that people post), I'd ask that you format your armor set so it looks like this:

Skills: asdf, asdf, asdf, asdf, asdf (This will be copied and pasted as the header for the spoiler)

That "high rank" set is basically G-rank considering Dalamadur only has Ukanlos left to do before you're already there.

a nice general usage set i made:
comes with AuXL, Razor Sharp, HG earplugs and depending on talisman and weapon slots 1-2 other skills.

this ster (though i know it isn't ideal) is pretty vesatile. right now i'm using it with a GS and have put on Focus. Once i upgraded them i'm planning to use it with SnS (just gem in anny elemental boost i want) or just with any other weapon i just feel like using

Unfortunately, the general use set from CantaPerMe that I posted directly outclasses that... A side-by-side:

HG Earplugs = HG Earplugs
Honed Blade > Attack Up XL
Razor Sharp = Razor Sharp
Challenger +2 = Rare Desired Skill
Critical Eye +1 > nothing

or

Challenger +2 > Easy Desired Skill
Critical Eye +1 = Easy Desired Skill

Here is my current set. It does not need weapon slots, which is good for sets using strong Elder Dragon weapons with no slots.

i did say that i know it's not ideal. also the set has 6 points in expert so that's not too hard to get together with any skill. also you don't need an edgmaster+4 OOO tali. and if you want to put a skill in that fits a certain weapon better it's always nice to just switch the tali. (and i mainly didn't go for Honed Blade/sharpness+1 because at the time i made it it's main purpose was to fit the Seregios GS)

If you find at least edgemaster+4 relic greatsword from your box, it's time to kick it up a notch with the set below:

Added ridiculousness if you have an extreme fastcharge/crit draw with sheathing/tremor res talisman combination.

And if you don't, there's always the generic greatsword/hammer set doable at g3:

I had a typo in my egg set... The Arms need a Sprinter 3 Jewel, not a Sprinter 1 jewel.

Here is a set I plan on making when the appropriate DLC quests come out.
For use with a natural purple sharpness GS. Seregios or relic.

Critical draw, focus, unshakable, evade distance, AuXL

Weapon - draw jewel 1
Torso up helm
GX Hunter Armor - attack jewel 3
Grand Gloaming Braces - attack jewel 3
GX Hunter Base - charger jewel 3
GX Hunter Cuisses - jumping jewel 2, jumping jewel 1
Talisman (attack +10 O) - draw jewel 1

There is plenty of room for changing things because there is the three slot in the chest. and the talisman is open to compliment it. Maybe challenger or adrenalin. Or perhaps Gogmazios GS with critical element or a few defferent skills that can be added with +2 decorations.
Lots of options.

Without a talisman, it gives Evasion +1, Guard +2, Sharpness +1, and Defense Up (S). With a good enough talisman, you can pretty much increase Evasion+1 to +3, or get Defense Up (XL), etcetera, or add a new skill, such as Evade Dist Up.

so i made myself a nice GL set some time ago. I mixed it together quite spontaniously so it might have some flaws but it is pretty fun to use.
