hmm keeping monsters as pets and using them to fight other monsters sure looks interesting, always wanted to do that somehow... i wonder if riding mosters through a kinda open world like you see at 1:25 will be what the Gameplay is like, i sure hope so because that sound like fun. judging by the artstyle it seems it is meant for somewhat younger audiences. i immagine something with a somewhat simmilar gameplay to "Fantasy Life" maybe, only a bit more extensive with a bit more complex combat (and all the riding monsters stuff added in).
PS: that felyne looks strange...
let's just hope it gets localized, though with how much love MH has gotten from Capcom and Nintendo here in the west i think the chances are good

Since the Rathalos is much smaller than normal, and they were trying to steal an Egg (which hatches at the end), I assume that the Rathalos is a juvenile, and you can use Eggs to hatch new monsters as mounts.
I hope that you can ride a Yian Garuga. That would be cool.

Oddly, over tje years a lot of people have talked about wanting to capture monsters, have yhem as pets and so on. I think this game will be a great way to allow people to do tha yt? While keeping the main MH series on track.

I can't help but think of what little I've played of Dragon Quest. I only rented one game for a couple days, and I was slow playing through it because of a fissured wrist (fell backwards and landed on it in PE class). I got about as far as halfway through the first dungeon.
...also, what the heck is with the Felyne's design!? It's like some unholy mix of your average Felyne and the caricature/Sunsnug version of Felynes. (Hello, culture shock!)
