So if people have been wondering where I've been, I've been playing Elite Dangerous on Steam.

No one eh? Well yall need to get to it! Seriously it's such a good game if you like the sandbox that is your own Galaxy, Albeit 1000 ish years in the future so obviously some sci-fi elements.

Think Eve, but without spreadsheets and over micromanagement of finances, instead its more about you as the pilot (first person view) of your ship.

Trade, Smuggle, Pirate, Bounty Hunt, Mine, PvP, Powerplay (Politics of the galaxy!), ...

Or forgo all of that and just EXPLORE the 400+ billion star systems available. See famous Nebula up close, go check out Sagittarius A* aka the Supermassive Black Hole at the center of our actual Galaxy, or head to the outer rim and arms and see fields of neutron stars.

It's an amazing game and if you can tolerate a Sandbox game that has a 10 years of expansions planned to play out a story and bring content into a game with an evolving galaxy, then this is the game for you.

I've seen this one around before. Seems interesting especially since I've been in a sci-fi mood due to Dune for a while but that endless sandbox galaxy aspect of it gives me a headache just thinking about it, really.

I dont know why but while I enjoy games filled to the brim with content like witcher 3, I always get lost searching for everything the game has to offer and give up half-way through

Well it's literally OUR galaxy, 1000 years in the future, everything from all the famous Nebula, Sagittarius A*, Great Annihilator, all explorable.

and with 400+ billion star systems you should already long know you cant find everything, so far only like 0.0001% of all scannable and discoverable things have been found outside the human bubble of space

In game only 1/10000% has been explored? Cause... yeah, in our galaxy we can see a good chunk, but haven't been able to even leave our solar sheath... even our first radio waves that we sent out about a generation ago haven't even gotten to the billionth of a percentage the size of our galaxy (Guess I answered my own question).
