I know it's early game, but I am being defeated by Cephadrome.

I am stuck in the Hub 1-star quest In Pursuit of the Sand Wyvern.

I am trying to main dual swords.

I know Ice hurts it most, but I am at two stars offline, and one star online. I have no access to Ice weapons.

I wield a pair of Dual Pincers, still stuck on level 1 because Bealite is not available yet.

I wear BuJaBuJaBu upgraded to level 3, except for the Greaves, which I have only upgraded to level 2.

I have the armor gemmed for Speed Sharpening.

I know to get under it and start slashing, but it figures out ways to hit me.

What am I doing wrong?
