Ok, so like always I am soloing the whole game. For the most part there's no trouble but every so often I run into monsters that seem to rage more and do more damage in a row without the ability to recover. For example a monster will stun, air, rumble or shout then be able to do multiple hits without being able to recover or react in between. In multi player mode this isn't as much of a big deal but soloing it becomes more noticeable. Anyone else run into this?

I haven't had a chance to play yet since I'm holding out for the PC release, but definitely appreciate the heads up as I'll probably be predominantly soloing too.

actually, i find soloing easier since the hp n stagger modifiers are lower xd

some monsters r rly good at comboing doh like teo and nergi when he enters his final form

I end up playing solo most of the time as I like taking my time between hunts.
The only monster that has f'd me up like that is Rathian. For some reason most of the time I end up in a corner and it just starts charging me to death. The gap between the charges is usually smaller than the time needed to get up so I usually just give up.

@boredforlife: yeah that's basically what I've noticed the most. Monsters can attack a second time before you recover from the fist on. Just seems they changed one or the other form previous games.

Happens mainly with the azure rath for me. But I have learned to just stay the f down, lol

I never rush getting up when fighting it, and time it for when he has just passed me. Then, since he is still raging, I put on the Vit mantle, or rocksteady mantle, and find a quiet place to lick my wounds, so to speak.
