HR WHAT?

could you explain me (since im a big noob ) what is hr and how do i level it up?




im asking this beacause nobody has ever explained to me what it is

HR = Hunter Rank

If you press start and look at your status, you'll see you're probably HR1.

Do the quests in the guild hall, the first few stars are HR1, complete all of them and you get an urgent quest, a blangonga I think (might be wrong), and after you do that you'll be HR2.

The higher the monster's level, up to HR9, the harder it is, and the better equipment you require. High rank monsters also have some different attacks from low rank ones.

there's a faster way to rank up and that's where you look it up on the wiki. search for the rank up guide and you'll have to take on certain quests but the problem is that you'll need more powerful weapons to take on monsters on urgent quests. take time to level up your weapons. i would suggest that you start with the iron katana then keep on upgrading the weapon to devil slicer. that weapon took me all the way up to HR 5 and can be upgraded to it's final form the true howling devil. by the way, ranking up will help you unlock more rare items you'll need on upgrading your arsenal.

so if make many guild hall quest i level hr up?

yes. granny quests and guild hall quests are almost the same but in the guild hall, that's where you rank up.
