Devil's Crush vs. Alatreon Metamorph (Hammer Help)

I need help. I'm not ready for Alatreon or Deviljho yet but I was wondering that when I am ready which hammer I should get: Devil's Crush (if this is it, which one) or Alatreon Metamorph. The materials needed to get each one don't matter to me. There are no allegedly rare Skypiercers so I don't care about the mats :P .

I don't think there are any topics posted on this already. I searched keywords like "Devil's Crush", "Alatreon Hammer", "Alatreon Metamorph". I'm sorry if this has been discussed before Embarassed

I beileive we decided that alatreon metamorph is better, If I remember correctly. I still hold the opinion that in general endline weps are all going to be fairly closein terms of damge. I use both just because I have them, alatreon metamorph is alot easier to make in my opinion though, so you should probably go 4 that

There was a big disscusion about this in a lance thread (Rook would turn it to a hammer topic) so that's why you didn't see it. I think it was a stalemate with both sides presenting good arguments.

Edit: the devils crush with the high atk beats the one with higher affinity, atk allways beats affinity.

Devil's crush wins if they're both at purple sharpness. If metamorph is at a higher sharpness then it wins. Overall devils crush wins due to more ko'ing power and damage overall it just needs to sharpne more =/

how does it have more Ko power, it techically has less as it loses sharpness faster=less time smacking in purple sharpness=less Ko unless you sharpen everytime it loses purple, even then they tie in KO

raw and sharpness are the only things that affect ko element does nothing to it at all. And if you're a decent hammer user you can easily ko before losing your purple sharpness. Admitedly you'll lose your purple when you're hitting a ko'd monster but hey you have teammates for that

I'm ot saying anyones better, I'm jut pointing put that they tie in Ko beacuase of their differences, I know element has nothing to do with it, and I said nothing about that, I honestly hink their both awesome weapons, although I generally use alluring lotus more often. I wish that the OP put a "their both awesome weapons" choice =/

It says at the top. The lower bar is with Sharpness +1 (Handicraft).

@ Snipez: Click 'vew results' (or whatever it's specifically called) which is just under the question and choices. DCP is at 5, AM is at 2.

The bottom sharpness bar is if you have the Sharpness +1 skill. That's why it's always bigger. If you read the top of the weapon trees' pages you'll see that stuff. I'm not getting angry at you just letting you know.

Also:
Why does Crush (P) win? Can you explain please?

I want to keep this going longer so people give me explanations.

Actually, aletreon would be better, the sharpness lasts longer
