No its not how to beat it D:< i can manage that somehow o.o in mah nub gear

Skills: Speed sharpen, Hp+50 (no idea how to use felyne kitchen X_X), AuS so my question is since i heard garuga armor is pretty good for this point in the game. Im wondering whats the best way to get it's mane? :O Hitting it's back is like impossible with a lance.... so any advice? or armor/weapon advice please? o.o learning how to evade lance without evade skills ish hard

the back is breakable? I thought the only breakable thing on the garuga was its face

Mane is a 7% from carving as well, but how to break the back... that's a good question. Gunner maybe? Crag/Clust spam the wings/back area?

From experience, I've always destroyed wings, ears and beak with a GS. Back though, maybe pitfall traps?

He is when not in rage.If you plant a pitfall when he is in ragee he will just fly out in 1 second flat.
Try using some powerful hammer.I seem to have a 99% chance of getting a mane everytime i use hammer on it.
Ps i tried lancing it myself,I got a mane in the rewards.Just keep at it,he will give you the mane eventually.

that might have been my problem, i tended to use trps while they monsters where in rage. which i have realised is a bad idea lol

I've always used a hammer on this guy, and I'm sure I've got some manes. I used the Kut-ku Pick which I think is quite a nice hammer. Keep trying!

You can also try to get something like the Kut-Ku armor, I defeated Tigrex with that :D
