Armor set advice

Oh hai thar im haruno =X for those of you that don't know and im currently wondering if i should switch armors now. Currently im using

Darkness (fierce jewel)
Hermitaur Helm Z (spec attack jewel+)
Hermitaur Mail Z (spec attack jewel+)
Hermitaur Vambraces Z (spec attack jewel/+)
Hermitaur Tasset Z (3x grinder jewel)
Hermitaur Greaves Z (2x grinder jewel)
Skills: Guts, Attack Up Small, Status attack up, Guard+1, sharpening inc, flat footed

I used this to destroy narga and to finally reach hr8 =O and i also main lance so is there something i should farm for? or will this armor last me a while? X_X

oh and for those that dont know darkness has 280 para 503 raw and natural purple sharpness which is why i dont have sharp+1

@eddy: yeahs solo'ing G rank is pretty hard imo T_T insane damage output, your attacks do crap and your felyne helper actually becomes a very useful distraction now =X

in my new character I just made gunhammer imperial spark and I am close to ukanlos again, with white fata z well outta sight atm, I think your set is pretty good haruno. I'd start farming some of theose more rare mats right now though

o.O i have no experience with hammers or horns (only quests in training hall i cant do are the damn hammer ones D:<) but im guessing its good? D: and i dont recall crimson/black/white fata's requirements involving ukanlos O_O i could be wrong but oh wells but so far i made an improvement. Here's my new armor set =D and G rank is pretty hard imo or at least compared to tri it's hard as hell D:< but now im currently using

Black Rain Darklance: 552 raw 50% affinity and 2 slots and natural purple =) awesome
So even though im one gem away from getting rid of attack down would this set work for evade lancing? D: Since atm Lavasioth homing slide = death........damn broken hitboxes T_T and i need to fight copper blango before fighting yami tsukami so any tips? or armor suggestions? D:

If u don't care about trapmaster/cap.guru u can gem sharpness+1 into narga armor = major ownage

Butbutbut I like mah trap master and cap guru T-T and I'm aware of that but that requires 9 slots so I lose speed sharpen Dx

no, i didnt mean it requires ukanlos, but farming it out is so much easier after beating on some baby ukanlos ass, ukanlos weps+ alchemy for 22 bombs total= fast farming for white fata at G rank. and really g rank is hard compared to tri, but tri got taken down alot in diffuculty. for me tri was easy, and g rank is normal. evasion set ftw. if lavasioth really beats you down with no hope use bow or bowgun and invincable spot for an easy pass kill, but learning him well is better for skill.

And ohs o.O thought ukanlos weapons had outstanding raw, crappy sharpness and horrible affinity O_O so doesn't a normal weapon with positive affinity and decent raw like say true gaelic flame or C blango destructor be better than it's ukanlos counterpart? O_O and yeahs evasion is beastly lavasioth just likes bs'ing me since his slide = death V_V....Sucks i have to learn how to fight him anyways for training school. not all ukanlos weapons are amazing, but Ive gotten most of my fastest times with them, btw try heroics or adreniline DS'ing anyhting hard with ukanlos DS its amazing :shock:

the lavasioth invincabe spot is right at the entrance of the 2nd extra area added to the volcano, he cant hit there at all, look it up on youtube if youre really curious

If you dont want to get any super offense armor sets and just evade, it'll last as a staple armor. If you decide jiust gemming evade into something, then well...it wont really be there even now.
yama is easy, although guts helps a TON. and bring tranq bombs to knock him down to attack and carve. keep moving back and forth in the semi circle, while avoiding his mouth at most times, only when you turn the other way would I chance direct line contyact with its mouth. otherwise hes pretty easy, the guts will save you form OHKO, and ls and lance work well for me against yama.

Ahs I see I just gemmed in guard Inc though with mega juice :P it was epics heroics + evade spam ftw only took around 10 min. Now off to ukanlos or at least the akantor event. So now that I'm hr 9 what lances should I be getting only have Naar thunderlance, daoras raid and black rain. Dx and how do you lance the fatty family? Since the G ranked one ohkos me Dx

I always focus on the back of the legs, I used a set that had guts though, when in armor mode use a set that has alchemy so you can use 22 bombs( assuming white or crimson here), for me it wasnt too difficult compared to the high rank one, his moves are teh same... maybe just practice?

its chief kris to weary finsword is the start, los is just a baby like that, and kirin is annoying, I used fire hammer superpounding him.
