hmmmmm monoblos hearts eh? i got one completly random while farming horns... ok so : Trading Veggie elder .......Desert ....... 20%chance ...... trades for: VegElderTcktSlv (no idea wth this is) Monster ...... ....Rank ......Carve/Drop ......Perc. Monoblos ..........Low ........Body (4x) .......2% Monoblos ........... Low..... Shiny Drop..... 2% * White Monoblos..... Low .....Body (4x) ........2% White Monoblos..... Low... Shiny Drop.... 2% Monster ........... Rank ........Carve/Drop....... Perc. Monoblos ............ High ........Body (4x) .......4% Monoblos ............High ........Shiny Drop ........4% White Monoblos .....High ......Body (4x) ........4% White Monoblos .....High ......Shiny Drop .......4% I got it from here*...(apparently it is easy for the game to give me a shiny drop from monoblos with 2% chance on my fourth hunt for it and 4 high rank khezu steaks on 4 hunts than give me one rathalos plate in 21 hunts....)

| if you are searching for rare items like monoblos hearts, do some epic hunting quests. you often get rare items there (same for plates and rubies) | |

| epic hunting quests are for later in the game (you basically fight several monsters in a row, though they are all a lot weaker than normal)
The veggie elder is a random guy you can find in certain areas (jungle, forest and hills, lots of places). he trades you stuff if you have the right items.
The vegeldertcktslv (and all the veggie elder tickets) are only obtainable by playing online so just ignore that :P

| in lowrank sharpness+1 doesn't metter that much. (for my opinion) so I would recommend to gem in one oft the 5-gem-skills, that are the one you can make gems which need one slot but have 2 skillpoints. I for example like to have speedsharpen. but there are some other quite usefull skills too that you could gem in like that. | |

| Monoblos hearts ARE like los plates, possibly rarer (though you can get them from more than just the tail)
You should just wait til high rank. as tom said, sharpness+! isn't that important in low rank, and high rank cean s armor comes with sharpness+1 already.

| You can also use Cean Claw+ to craft sharpness +1 jewels when you get that far, and those claws are alot easier to farm for than Monoblos hearts. | |

The materials needed to create one are: 1x BattlefieldJewel 1x RainbowTailFeather 1x Binoculars

| Is there a chance of getting narga brain stems by capturing(a better one than by carving his body)? the wiki doesn't give information bout this. I wanna upgrade some of my narga weapons, and I need loads of them. | |

the wiki doesn't give information bout this. I wanna upgrade some of my narga weapons, and I need loads of them. Breaking the tail gives you an 8% chance while capturing gives you an 4% chance...so no :P Edit : on G rank breaking gives 10% and capturing 6%

| You can;t cut a hypno's tail, only break it.
Also, hypnocatrice urgents are evil /versad/ they set you up against a high rank monster while you can only have low rank weapons/armor.
They aren't TOO hard though...
