| hey guys what is a good bow to use at 7 star elder quests??? i want the dragon halo but idk where to get the stuff thanks! |

| Hay, well even though u want ur halo id get the Dragon Bow Earth cause it does dragon instead of thunder, plus everything else is basically the same. Now the stuff...
Dragonwood: Trenya and u have to use the max poke pt u hav with him in jungle, snowy mountains or forest and hills
Dragonmoss: Same as above
Kirin thndr tail: from a kirin, possible to obtain from vilage elder quest but quite rare or hi level guild quests
Elder dragon blood: from any eldr dragon but i get more of them from the chamelos quest
Oh and dont forget to pat that piggy of urs!

To be honest, at High Rank Village, Halo path is ALOT more useful.

| hey guys thanks for the info but there is only dragon halo bow and i cant kill the kirin.... any advice.? i havae fought him 32 times.. |

| If you're using a bow on Kirin, I suggest one that has a scatter shot without charging. Kirin is all about speed, the more damage you can inflict in a shorter amount of time the better. When I took Kirin down, I used Kutku Stave III, remobra armor, and a crapton of healing items. All of Kirin's attacks can be easily avoided if you're quick on the roll. Kirin also has a tendency to freeze after taunting *Or at least that's what's happened with me* and you can get off about 5-6 volleys of scatter shot across Kirin's body before it starts moving again. Depending on how well you maneuver, it might take a couple of tries and you might hit the 5 minute warning, but you can do it. |

| ok well i just beat him at the 5 min mark with ds haha but i fought him in training with a hammer and beat him in 8 mins.. i just need 1 more kirin tail and then i just need the other stuff... i want that bow so bad |

| Didn't want to make another Topic for a question thats similar, so whats a good bow for Lunastra and does it work well with Kirin Gunner since I have both Blade armor and Gunner,and if Lunastra armor isn't worth it whats the best monster to farm other than Luna. |

| Looking at it, if decorated right, Kirin gunner armor can be pretty damn good. You just need to offset the negative Everlasting and if you feel up to it, add psychic vision gems to it so you can get auto tracker. As for using Empress armor for a bow, I wouldn't. It utilizes guard up, which is useless for a bow. Depending on your playstyle and the monster you're fighting, there are niche armors that will help you out. I've been using Remobra armor *As stated above*, which has Runner, PierceS/PierceBow Up *Gemmed in*, Poison Dur Halved, with a negative effect of All Res -3. Runner is hella useful if you have a full charge arrow and are forced to relocate before setting it off and Pierce up, goes without saying, a good skill when matched with a pierce bow and a large monster.
The Kirin armor you have is a good choice for all around since the Elemental Attack Up is useful for pretty much every bow *With the exception of Tiggy and Narga*
As for bow choice, that should depend on the monster and its weaknesses. |

ugh, dragon bow earth is horiible. even though the other dragon bows are unlocked a bit later theyre way better and earth isn't a good use of a lao gem(maybe im thinking of the upgrade though) dont waste those mats on it. As others said halo is way better, plus it upgrades really easily and is total beast after final upgrade( yama and Grank kirin parts, lol, so easy) Narga bow is actually pretty good, so is the wyverian harp if its unlocked for you yet, idk remember when the actual weapon is unlocked but you can get the item prettty quickly and its a great bow for anything weak against water, I used it to beat dual Grank gravvy. ceanutaur isnt horrible, and hermitaur is pretty good too. kut ku stave, even though form like the weakest monster ever, when upgraded handles fairly well. just a tip- if and when you make akantor bow, think about it! If glorius victory can be reached at this point make that instead. nerfed akantor bow isnt as good as it used to be, and tyrants wrack, only available at 3 star Grank, isnt really worth it. white fata bow is total pwnge and is one of my favoirite bows. If kirin is totally destrying you try gunhammer or a bowgun that firws pellets, the bow with scatter probably works just as well but Ive never used it. fire lance will work just as well, and if tyoure good at avoiding fire Ds make quick work of kirin, keep moving and learn kirins signs there pretty clear and makes it a pretty simple battle.
Edit: when I say the "other dragon bows" near the begging in that context Im refering to other dragon elemented bows, the other dragon bows are still better though too but the whole statement doesnt apply as earth is the 2nd unlocked dragon bow
( actually this applies to dragon elemented bows as well too, lol) |
