I need some help with the 2 Rajangs

I've been pretty stuck on the quest for the chief, The Final Invitation I can't kill the first one I've used bow's bowgun's great swords hammers and still nothing.
Can anyone tell me a lay out of good armor/weapons and decorations please.

can you kill a single rajang? in another quest?
like the nekoht rajang quest... and dont go from 1 wep, try it once, then other, just pick one, like LS choose one with good raw or ice damage...

It's been a looooooong time since I completed this quest (the only time, at that)

I think I used a longsword with the Death Stench S set, I can't remember which sword though.

I also remember that I went into the quest fully loaded with Items.

I'm talking ancient potion, max potions, mega potions, mega demondrugs, mega armorskins, mega nutrients, mega juices, traps, and the stuff to make more of all of them, along with a few books.

Basically you have to try and get the Rajang down as quickly as possible, because having two in there is simply impossible to beat. If you can't kill the first one fast enough, paint it, keep track of it, and trap or stun or what have you to limit the movement of both of them.

Honestly there was also a huge amount of luck dashed into that strategy.

Hardest quest I've faced in MHF2 and even in MHFU. I've tried short and long swords (the only weapons I'm really good at) and got nothing for almost a year. I finally tried sleep-bombing the damn beast. It worked after several tries. I used Obituary S armor set and Sandman Spike+. Smaller one got killed by my bombs and the bigger one got killed by my cat after sleep bombing both.

I had 10 Megapots, 10 Pots, 10 herbs plus Barrels, Barrel Bombs, Gunpowder, Scatterfish. I also brought Flash bombs and picked all necessary items from the box.

i did it with the same armor:D
and ice elemented sword and shield:D
rajang gets pwned by a sns

it wasnt all that hard... i beat it with the Diablos GS below king atilart without much problem. the big point is to make sure u get rid of the first before 10 mins. the best way to see if u can do this is take on the single high rank rajang and if u can beat them or cap them within 15 mins, then u can take on the first one in the invitation within 10.

Cut. Off. Its. Tail. ASAP.

Without its tail, it wont go into rage mode. Its like the Saiyans from Dragonball Z that way. That... and the raised gold hair and massive power energy beams... ._.

Though to do that, youll need a really tough Ice Element sword. Id say wait till better weapons are obtainable. And maybe get some tougher armour in the process, and max it out.

Like he said. You will wanna be completely ready with everything. If it heals you bring it. cuz your gonna need it. Rajang is no laughing matter. I mean sure hes an awesome monster. but i dont like fighting him. not at all. Also, go with a strong ice weapon.
