Secret Request: 2 Monoblos!

Fighting Bloses has never been my specialty in Monster Hunter, just to kill one in under 15 minutes requires me to spam the hell out of Flash and Sonic bombs (in Unite, anyway. They're a lot easier when I can use the lance counter), and so I need some advice for this quest, as it's put a halt to my progress.

I passed the Four Horns quest using the Imperial Gunlance, but I'm wondering if there's a better weapon and/or method for me to use against them. After all, it's a low rank weapon and I'm now in High rank. I'm willing to try any weapon (except GS) against them and my current strongest armour sets are Diablos D (I actually managed to waste enough Flash/Sonics to grind this set) and Kirin, but if grinding another set would be more useful, I'd glady go and do so.

Any advice at all to help fight against these horned muppets would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

better setup than i had when i beat them, i think. just go for the white one first, so you have more items if you need them (keep some for the normal one!)

I used the dragon bow halo, but I don't reccomend it, since it took me 40 minutes. As has already been said, pellet shots eat the blos alive. Get a gun that rapid fires pellet lv3, and bring some materials to make more. Try to gem in pellet S up into your armor (or whatever boosts the power of pellets) and you shouldn't have a problem.
