Im trying to get a lao hvnly scale but i dont cuz i keep repelling. So my question is go with narga hvy bowgun 70% raw, and 500 something with adrenaline or tigrex hvy bowgun 0% affinity and around 600 raw with adrenaline. I've tried with narga and got no hvnly and just repel it. Do u think the tigrex gun will kill it? I am still thinking if i should waste the hvnly tigrex scale on the hvy bowgun.

Tigrex weapons suck. The one and only possible exceptiopn is the G ranked tigrex Greatsword but even that is outclassed by akantor broadsword+ and ukanlos Greatsword. Don't even bother wasting mats on them. Tiggy's armor sucks ass too.

And unlike monster hunter tri affinity is applied BEFORE damage calculations so therefore affinity > raw. Especially since 70% affinity is essentially a 17.5% damage increase. However in the case with narga weapons especially in G rank attack up skills increase your damage output more than reckless abandon.
