Does the PS3 have to be connected to the internet via the Ethernet cable? Or can I just go on Ad Hoc Party with out the cable? I have wireless internet...

There are special cords available that plug into the ethernet socket and have a wireless thing on the end. it tricks the ps3.into thinking its hard-cabled. idk if this is good connection-wise though.
