Monster Hunter tri is put into the RPG genre, and is best selling RPG so far on the Wii, but is eclipsed by the Final Fantasy 7 at 9.72 million, and handheld pokemon red/green/blue at 31 million.

Mainsteam Wii games also dominate like New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii) at 24 million Wii Sports Resort at 30 million. Twilight Princess(oddly enough listed as adventure instead of RPG) at 6 million.
