We have no idea what we'll see cause it is still a concept/in production, who knows what will actually come from the game, it is more of a waiting game and everything will just be speculation.
In other words, fun times of everyone putting their hopes for what their idea of a perfect MH game is.

Anyways, serious comment time!
I'd like to see some sort of 'scar' mechanic... let me explain
At an X chance (varies per monster) the monster you encounter may have one or more (albeit more rarely you have 2 or more) parts of their body scarred. Not broken, but it would be visible. It might slow it down a bit while moving, using attacks, or weaken it's attacks. Or it might just make the spot a bit weaker to certain types of damage. I know this would make it easier, but to offset this it would be a bit stronger in other areas. If it's slower, it hits harder. If it moves slower because of it's leg being damaged, then it might fly or dig more often. If that spot is weaker, then other parts of it might be a bit harder than usual and take less damage. It would add a bit of variety to the game without changing the core mechanic of hunting.
But this is just my idea of what I'd like in it. It's probably got holes all over it. /yes/

Epic meal time is lame, Regular Ordinary Swedish Meal Time is way better.

Serious comment
The exploration in this game will be more epic and interesting with an open map without loading zones, this way gathering quests will be REAL gathering quests. (exaple: there are some berries or rocks you need that are only in a cave, but for reaching that cave you have to climb all the way up). The hunting may be more interesting, fighting with your weapon will not change to much really, but with all this jumping, climbing and getting on the monsters backs there may be more moves you can do (example: climbing a monster's back and hitting with the Duals you have or a jump slash with your GS) Multiplayer imo will not have to much issues, is a 3ds game so everyone will have their screen. Exploring an open area with friends will be a lot more interesting, I want to see how a paintball will work in this. Finally some quests ideas: In a hunting quest you only see 1 of the monster they asked you to hunt, maybe this time they can put moar of the monsters in the same quests (example: a hunt 1 G. Jaggi quest in which there are 3 G. Jaggis) well that are some of my ideas

oooo me me me, this could be interesting.
Also, you guys still seem to be assuming a lot off a concept video. Just saying. Give it some time bros.
Gotta be realistic sometimes : D

Yeah, that's something to think about.
Maybe multiplayer would just let people still walk through eachother?

Earlier someone thought about paintballs. I would think the paintballs would send up a beacon in the place, zone, or whatever.
