A little help please?

Hi guys, I was wondering if I could get some help and answers for my questions.

Im new to Bowgun but Leonhart helped me a bit last night killin luddy and a few jaggi and peco. Im thinkin about doing a hardcore HR grind to 25 and farmin Ura armor and not sure which BG yet, prolly rathling if I can get it.

Im not sure if that is a good plan or not, IF (If has the biggest definition if the dictionary) I can get a really good team of 4 going along with me for the cash and items.

Currently wearing: Full chainmail and Light BG (light frame, tropoco barrel, light stock)

Ditch chainmail and go for peco armor, then get barroth, the get either Lagi and/or Los armor, after that try to get diablos for pierce and ura for status

You can use a lagi set for element gunning uragaan if that is what you are planning on doing, but if you do i would suggest getting a different bowgun. Royal launcher works nicely for your basic uragaan needs, especially if you are on a 4-man team. If you want to try pierce gunning you can gem in precision +2 with any 5 slot set and a 3 slot piercing gun like jaggid fire frame/barrozooka barrel/thundacrus stock. i used ingot myself for a while, it was handy against unblockable attacks like agna's lazer.

Gunning is best suited for when you hit high rank, as most of the equipment that you get is better than their low versions.
Gunning at low rank is also very costly, and most bowguns that are specific to one ammo type are unavailable then.
My advice is to take up gunning when you go high rank, so that you get the best equip.

^ Sapphire's right, the only time low rank gunning works is with status, but pierce gets a close second

Naked gunning is viable. About as viable as naked BM. Not as viable as naked streaking (it's not streaking if it's not naked, right?)

I did high rank ian naked with leon, ice, and hunter...
Some people had pants...
But i didnt get hit once, full health the whole way
But everyone else got hurt a little

well, first off, I was the only one naked. (And leon :/)
I got hurt cuz I was lsing and you gaiz were gunning.
You're more likely to get hit when your a blademaster
Plus, I only got hit once :/
And I mean major hits, not tiny things that dont even take an 8th of your health.
