AdHoc Party not working? D:

So I decided to go back to MHFU, and play on AdHoc for a while. I plugged everything in, and my PS3 gives me the error message "You must use a wired connection to a broadand network to use your PS3 system".
The thing is, the internet cable's connected to the router fine, it seems to be in my PS3 fine, I've tried resetting the PS3, and I've tried resetting the router. Nothing's worked.
I'm sure the cable works fine, I had it in my computer not 5 minutes ago and it ran without any problems.
Anyone got any ideas? I wanna play online again /versad/

Are you sure the ps3 itself is picking up the internet connection? idk if you have a wirless connection or anything but if you normally use wireless don't forget to set it up to use the wired.

I realised the problem, I forgot to turn my PS3 from wireless connection to wired ^^'
