All I can say about Kingdom Hearts is that it has some MAJOR naming issues to work out.

Because children can't be heroes like that.

I'm sorry but I don't care which made up gaming universe you come from. It's just not logical for kids to be wielding weapons in which they just suddenly get as a plot device and are able to best adults or some really powerful monster with. Then there's the issue of their lower stamina / strength due to their younger age, they aren't built nearly as fit as a typical hero adult who has way more stamina and health going for him or her.

I know it's silly to bring that kind of discussion / view to a video game but honestly it pisses me off every time I see a game have a child as the main hero / character. It's not logical or practical and it just looks stupid.

Yeah some little kid who got some "magical" weapon is just going to go around besting people who have discipline and trained hard to master the art of wielding weapons or magic...riiiight....

Can I just say? Not to deduct from your opinion or anything, but the LoZ series wants a word.

i positively love the KH series, save some parts like pooh bears world >,>

and the 'kid' is extra strong because of the keyblade, it makes the user stronger. Not to mention in half of KH1, unless you're exceptionally skilled gamer, most the 'adults' you fight, actually do kick your ass ... its part of the game. In KH1, most the adults are made to be better than you and they dont even try to actually win until much later in the game. Heck even Riku is made to be better than you until the end, and hes older than Sora.

I don't buy into that "weapon makes you stronger" crap. It's just not logical, they can't go about saving the world / universe.

you yourself said the weapon was magical, and they let it on that the keyblade does have magical power as well as a mind of its own to some extent as the blade chooses its master, not the other way around. With magical properties involved, anything is possible.

Wait why am I of all people saying that?

In all honesty I played about one eighth of KH1, it was decent but it was at the Boys and Girls Club and the bratty kids there kept hogging it. I keep seeing it at GameStop for $15 but whenever I go in there I'm always buying something else and don't have the money left when I'm done.

KH1 was great, camera control coulda been better. My fav part i simply loved to do, was making and messing with gummi ships >w<

As for the game, beat every single one cept chain of memories and KH2 final mix cuz ish JP only. The games made me feel nostalgic, and every time i fought with sephiroth I was always beaten down up until I destroy him on that 9001st try XD

Well its already been anounced and now it's just a matter of time till it comes out.

now to coment on something else. Magical weapons have been a part of many cultures throughout history. One of the most notable stories is about a young child who pulls a sword from a stone and later on leads a group of followers on some amazing adventures. Actually sounds a lot like Kingdom Hearts.

i will admit that a 12 y/o kid goes arround raping ppl with his huge key is unrealistic.
But itw more fun in kh2 when sora's about 15 and is better.

But one of my favorite games is khbbs, the 3 playable characters have all been training to obtain their kickass skills. And 2/3 characters in it are nearly adults, so they own most of the story.

I didnt play kh for a realistic game, i played it for entertainment, and thts wut i got.

Also, I dislike the KH games cause they ruin a good bit of the Final Fantasy characters....worst messup honestly is Squall, oh wait I mean Leon....seriously he would never portray himself like that....least that's not how I view him.

just out of curiosity to those who don't like kingdom hearts, why post in this thread at all? are you trying to say the OP is wrong for liking the game or just trying to start an argument because you don't like people talking about things they like. just curious.

Not quite actually.

I'm more interested in how they can manage to like it when to some like myself the games were a failure because they ruined the setting and theme of many of the classic Final Fantasy series we know and love (and as said above, how is Aeris alive?).

I can respect whoever liking it for fun but there's just so much wrong with it. I'm eager to see the thought processes on how they can enjoy the game series.

for its time, KH's fighting system was quite awesome and very enjoyable, graphics were great, story was fun and enjoyable, lots of side games to enjoy, plus the gummy ship system was just awesome.

Aside from that, think in terms of .. what if? ... like, what if all the disney and FF worlds were connected like that? What if in there story progression, all this went on? KH1 is a big "what if?" game with great systems for its time.

Not that at all jojo, it just really annoys me when people try to ruin someones post about something the op likes or whatever just because they don't like it. Why can't they just let the oerson and those who want to talk about do so without trying to start something. it's unfair to the OP, rude and pointless. So in my opinion i think that if you have nothing positive to add or your comments don't fit with the original intent of the post, you shouldn't post anything at all.

The only KH game I've gotten to play properly is BBS. Not really a fan of the story and characters of the series as a whole (DAHKNESS DAHKNESS DAHKNESS EVERYWHERE) I'm actually in more for the gameplay style and also dat soundtrack
