Make a lagi+ room on a busy recruit server, they fill up nicely.

Hammers don't gain that much from awakening, it's not worth sacrificing sharpness+1 or hg earplugs. but if you can make lagi+ before hitting 51+, or just playing around, more power to ya.

Eh, awaken is a so so skill, element attack up is much better, just stick with Lagiacrus over forged, there are really only a few weapons that work with awaken, and none of them are hammers.

no!!!

the two weapons awaken is most discussed for is sinister saints and tenebra D.

element doesn't matter much on a gs unless you are, soloing an agile monster like barioth. awaken to a gs is useless as you'll be able to land more l3's in an hr group and l3 charges are mostly raw, not elemental.

anguish will dominate pretty much anything else in gs arena, especially since you have to give up soemthing like AuL or crit draw to get dat awaken.

My advice?

Skip it.
Awaken is only useful for a couple of weapons at the most, and even then, it's still not worth it in my opinion.

Laggi over grade is a MUCH better path to go with.

But I shall give tips:
Keep farming him.
Capture for an extra chance at a sapphire if you need it.
Create a room specifically for Laggi+

Eventually you will get what you want.

true, you can make lagi+ when you already made the other good ones, but not as your main armor, just for the heck of it.

AWaken isn't as good as the skills lr lagi has, which I think is razor sharp, but I'm not too sure.

I'd advise not getting lagi+ and just overforging low rank armor.
If you want an awaken set use escadora and gem in evasion+2 then escadora actually becomes useful since it's basically a barioh set with awaken and blghtproof.

And you're only going to want to awaken two weapons, saints and tenebra.
But then it comes down to if you want EaU or evasion skills with your awaken.

I use awaken for Iron Devil and it is an amazing hammer. To use it correctly though you need a set with Sharpness +1, HGE, Awaken. Any other hammer will benefit more from element attack up as others have already said. Just wanted to add that Iron Devil is a valid reason with the right set up to go after an awaken set.

D: Why would you suggest Escadora even with evade+ the set lacks in usefulness I rather mix the arms or legs since I know at least the arms have five points of awaken then again so does lagi+ and has an extra slot.

Also I would just overforge low rank lagi I see more use for it with all the slots distributed evenly around the armor and razor sharp

I found one solution:

does any other solution exist, preferably one not dependant on an A+2/A+2?
