Just wanted to clear up a couple rumors, if anyone could verify them for me, that'd be great ^W^

1. I've heard some people say that you can't flash a mob if it's in rage mode. I'm not sure if that's true or just simply difficult to do.

2. Apparently, if an ian or los runs away and triest grab some aptonoth, you can throw down a smoke bomb to "hide" the aptonoth. I'm not sure if I'm throwing the bomb in the right place or if I'm just being trolled. XD

3. If you're facing up against something that eats meat, you can apparently throw a smoke down and drop some tinged meat. It won't notice you and try to eat the meat. Could someone explain to me how to pull this off, if possible?

First has been answered, the second seems like trolling. If it isn't, you probably won't be in time anyway.

For the third one, i'm pretty sure only deviljho eats from the first second on (the others need to be exhausted, iirc). Still, the odds of you throwing a bomb and putting down meat before being noticed....

The Second one I don't think is possible unless you send someone to go wait for the Los, and plant a smoke bomb when they hear it coming. Not at all worth the effort. If you catch it in the middle of its meal, a dung bomb will work just as well.

As for the third one, that depends on what you mean. Do you mean planting a smoke bomb and placing the meat within it? Well if the Monster can't sense you in the smoke, I doubt it could sense the meat, so here's what I think you mean, and this is totally possible. If you predict what area a Monster will go to next, plant some meat right out in the open. Walk away from it, and when the Monster walks in, toss a smoke bomb. When the Monster takes the meat, go up and whack it.

You can flash a raging monster it becomes much harder because they are moving more than if they were not enraged I flash Los out of the sky as soon as it enters rage and continue to do so. We have access to meat before Deviljho feed a gobul or Peco it's pretty amusing seeing them fall victim to an easy meal second one just sounds like trolling but the third is true and first is false second one you are being trolled.

1. I've heard some people say that you can't flash a mob if it's in rage mode. I'm not sure if that's true or just simply difficult to do.
False. Most enraged monsters will be effected for about 10-15 seconds. As for it being difficult to do, monsters tend to move faster than normal, but when enraged they tend to become more vulnerable to attacks (like Jho). Also, it is very difficult to flash an enraged Blos and impossible to sonic bomb it.

2. Apparently, if an ian or los runs away and triest grab some aptonoth, you can throw down a smoke bomb to "hide" the aptonoth. I'm not sure if I'm throwing the bomb in the right place or if I'm just being trolled. XD
False, I wouldn't say you are being trolled necessarily. You have been simply misinformed. You can trap Ian or Los when they are eating or dung bomb it.

3. If you're facing up against something that eats meat, you can apparently throw a smoke down and drop some tinged meat. It won't notice you and try to eat the meat. Could someone explain to me how to pull this off, if possible?
True. If you use the Autotracker skill, you can see which direction a monster is facing before entering into an area. Walk in when the monster is looking in the opposite direction. This is what you do, throw down a smoke bomb, drop sleep meat down, throw down another smoke bomb, drop another piece of meat down, and do that once more. Keep dropping smoke bombs until the monster (Jho) eats the meat. If you are playing with other people kindly let them know what you are doing before they disrupt what you are doing. I usually use about 5 smoke bombs. You can also run in the area drop a smoke bomb, drop meat, run out, and wait for the monster to eat it. But then you would be quessing if the monster actually ate the meat.

Because the answers were misleading.

Daenerys is right. Listen to her answer.

People like to say don't flash on raging monsters, because when they are, they tend to spam attacks.

Go flash a raging Barioth and see what happens. An alternative is to flash a raging Jho and put on Metal Rock music and watch it head swing.

He never stated that flashing was true, his wordings were very ambiguous, cuz it sounds like he's affirming the rumor as true.

OP asked if Rumor 1 was true or difficult, first words of Stabster stated, it was true. It can mislead people.

For 2, I don't know much.

For 3, smoking + meat works 90% of the time at the start of the match. You stated, the time before Jho notices you, but smoking would make him lose notice anyways sooooo misleading.

PS: I don't know why people -'s though, it doesn't do anything and they should've have replied instead. But I'm guessing someone minused for that reason. IMO I don't think we even need + - system if the minus doesnt even work xD and the fact that most +'s come from the World Outside of MH thread. Lol.

I am new here and I already noticed that a lot of his posts can be misleading. I don't know if he has been gone for so long that he gets things confused. I will say this he tries but his posts make me cringe sometimes considering how long I have been playing.
