So I was online earlier today and I played with a girl that was doing an insane amount of damage (She soloed a deviljho on 3 star querepeco quest and killed a gobul in about 4-5 minuted) I was wondering if this is a hack or not. She was hunter rank 38, used the Dancing Flames longsword, and used low level armor. When I asked her about it, she said something about eating Fire mint ice cream raising attack a ridiculous amount. Any help is appreciated!

From what it sounds like, it does seem to be a hack.
There is no "mint ice cream" in the game that gives an attack boost (from what im aware of).
Also soloing jho with a fire LS and LR armor seems very unlikely to me, ive seen low rankers use equip like that and it had taken a team of four 40 mins to kill one.

While it probably is a hack, I don't think she meant the 'Mint icecream' as a serious thing. But you should be at least a bit glad you got yourself some Jho material for talons so early.

Yeah, I did get talons and upgraded my armor and power charms. So should I report them or just leave it?

why the heck one should be glad about cheating???
also, you can get banned for being in a hacked quest, are some jho talons really worth it?

Well while that is possible, they didn't know they were hackers, nor was he even told he/she hacked, so he had no choice of knowing, and if they plan on banning him for something that he couldn't avoid, then personally I don't see any fairness in that.

It's not like he chooses to cheat, he didn't know at all, he was just hunting for fun and a hacker came in, what do you expect him to do when he didn't even know he/she hacked at all? I know it's bad to cheat but we have to be a bit more reasonable on both sides.

Exactly! I didn't suspect her of being a hacker until she soloed a deviljho. THEN I thought she was. I am glad to get jho parts, but I didn't know about the hack.

I hacked, finished the game, stopped playing.
Realized how epic MH3 was, realized that hacking was so uncool, got back yesterday, created a new account.
Never hack, I almost finished the offline mode. It just all became hard and stuff, I was too lazy to think and do things anymore harder, but that's the challenging part-- the "fun" part.

Don't say she, ahem. You may never know what that person's gender is. ;)

Well, it was a girl character at least.
