| I found it easiest to just go bats*** crazy with either Duals or Longsword. Stay on his rear as much as possible & have at it. Works (for me atleast) against Ukanlos aswell. | |

| I find Akanor easiest with Hammer, seriously just stay on the sides and charge then pound when possible/safe followed by a triple pound when he's knocked down. Beat it first try without being carted.

| I finally beat it! /yes/ I beat with hidden saber and kept on hacking at his arms. The poor Akantor always falls but I still bet the gathering hall akantor is stronger. | |

Akantor is kill only, but I think elder dragons like yama and kirin are kill only monsters too Thanks matey, yeah I've fought Kirin and Yama a good few times (Oh god no, the kirin... the memories are coming back to me!  ) but I basically sh*t a brick with the gathering hall Aka and booted up adhoc party! hehe, only fought him the once with some G-rank buddies and we managed to get the kill after a couple of tries so I was just wondering if aka/uka could be repelled; now I know they can't .
