First topic message reminder :

Spoiler:

This information was posted and translated by:

- Controllers supported are "Wii remote + classic controller pro" (I'm not sure if this means it supports both or the CCpro hooked up to the Wii remote), gamepad (duh), and pro controller

- Some work has been done to the graphics outside of just the 1080p upres

- Can move the position of the gamepad screen's panel to the left, right, or middle of the screen. Doesn't look like it takes up the full screen on the gamepad

- Like the 3DS ver. of MH3G, you can customize the bottom screen's panel

- The online is split up into 3 different segments: Areas, lobbies, then ports. Areas (2000 players max) are split up into different types. Ex. G rank, high rank, new players, free play, seeking others, etc. Lobbies (100 players max) populate these areas. You can make, or join a port (4 players presumably) once you enter a lobby.

- Lobby menu shows: Make a port, join a port, search for a port, change world, change lobby, friend list, short message (PMs?), chat log, close

- Looks like there's lobby chat

- Can chat using preset messages or write your own

- All of the download quests from MH3G 3DS will be included in MH3G HD

- Kayamba and ChaCha show up during the save data transfer between Wii U and 3DS

----------------------------

So that's from Famitsu and what we now know about MH3U for the WiiU.

'Twould be nice to have 8 people in a port. There's always complaints and bickering as to what quest should be done.

Of course the downside to the is that more people means more jerks can join your city and either just clog slots or spam the quest board.

It would be super cool if you could have your own city with 'friend invites' only.

I could imagine:

Player 1: Let's do this, guys!

Player 3: Should we wait?

Player 2: I think we should.

Player 1: Alright.

Player 4 enters city*

Player 4: Help pls

Player 4: *posts his quest*

Players 1-3: =.='

Player 5: Help, Urgent!!

Player 5: *posts urgent*

Player 6, 7, & 8 enter*

Player 6-8: HELP

*each post different quests*

Player 1: .... Let's just do our quest, then...

*Departs*

Would be legit to advertise for a quest..."
MHFO has 100 Player Cities and that's how the chatbox looked the whole time; people asking others to join..

Those HD screenshots look great! I'm saving up for both the games, I want to enjoy Tri Ultimate on the go, considering I travel a lot and at home and online with other people. It's really the only reason I'm getting a Wii U, I could care less about the current games released for it xD

And dear heavens, please let there be four players cities. I already have trouble with dealing with three people, not to mention a whole herd of them about which quest we'll possibly do /no/

Although the requests were more organised and all you had to do was click on the text to join ;)
The @here command was a great idea... Doubt we'll see it in MH4 or Tri U though - or something similar to it.

Nothing a period doesn't solve.

English hard bad also difficult make me feel dmub

Honestly, once I get a near-full friend list, I never have to bother with Gate chat again. If I'm not joining friends on quests of their own, I just browse the city topics for one I'd like to join, and people tend to find me.

Jader: I think the friends list was tiny IMO.

Jader: Although finding a player

Jader: by name was super easy.

Jader: I just wish the interfaces

Jader: were faster to navigate through.

Jader: Not to mention a dedicated

Jader: message box system would be

Jader: quite nice to have so that

Jader: I can organize myself and my

Jader: friends better. I mean

Jader: seriously not being able to talk to

Jader: someone because they are in

Jader: a quest at the time was a

Jader: major bummer because often times

Jader: your quests would overlap so you'd never

Jader: be able to message each other in

Jader: the lobby!

^ LOL. That's actually exactly what it's like. It's so hard to have an actual conversation in-game. During down-time between quests and what not, I'd love to be able to socialize with other hunters. Kinda hard to do when you haven't even enough space to form a coherent thought.

Atleast you could chat at all. I'm sure enlarging the text boxes (which was an option in
the original MH/PS2) would help. Alas, there's enough screen clutter as it is.
