Where's Arzuros? An 8 meter long bear that charges at you with full speed!... Only to steal your honey and eat in front of you. Not to mention his weakspot... his derrière, honestly? Poor oversized teddybear.

Qurupeco
Arzuros
Great Jaggi
Great Baggi
Great Wroggi
Giadrome
Gendrome
Velocidrome
Iodrome
Khezu

They're all derp-sticks.

They're just derp-sticks in their own way.

Gosh, though...they are dumb.

The "'aggi"s need to learn when and where to call their little minions.

The Qurupeco can't remember that he called that Deviljho / Rathian / Rathalos / Great ____ into the room in the first place. So he runs. From the thing he called. Himself.

Khezu and the Dromes are forever trying to remember if they left toasters on.

Arzuros just wants some damn honey. And hugs.

Nuff said.

My vote has got to be with the Brute Wyvern species in general. From Diablos to Barroth to Brachydios, etc. they seem to have the hardest time figuring out where in the map they want to go making it hard for Blademasters to figure out where to stop and start wailing on them with their weapons. Your basic Brute Wyvern moves something like this: forwards, backwards, around in a circle, backwards, around in a circle, forwards, backwards, etc. etc. that is unless it's charging at you.

Agreed; Brute Wyverns have to be the stupidest thing I've hunted. Every damn quest one always manages to back up so far it's OFF THE EDGE OF THE MAP. Then it stays there drooling and whimpering for a good half a minute before moving straight to another area.

/Kickback

An argument could be made for Ceadeus too though, thing's so massive and sluggish it makes me wonder how it could possibly fit into an eco-system full of angry meat-eating leviathans.

It fits in the same way whales do, by being to big and too strong for any of the other ocean predators to take it down.

plus the fact that the damn thing is staying at ridiculous fathoms way out of reach of just about every other marine MH species means that it's part of its own ecosystem until it surfaces.

Don't call us nerd when you're very much one yourself.

Also, don't be rude to people if you don't want them to be rude to you. No one that replied to you was replying in a rude way. We were all simply pointing out your mistake. One that's pretty hard to make, but a mistake nonetheless.

That being said, maybe you should pay more attention to the aesthetics of the monsters you're fighting. Brute Wyverns don't have wings. They never do. Look at Brachydios, Deviljho, Uragaan, and all the other Brute Wyverns. Do they have wings? No.

Now look at the Diablos. Does he have wings? Yes. What type of Wyverns have wings? Flying Wyverns.

Honestly, we're not really being that nerdy in knowing the types of monsters. The game - every game in the series - has a Monster List that you can use to see what type of Wyvern the monster is, some flavor text about them, a tribal-like picture, and then some depending on which game you're playing.

By checking this in-game piece of material you're not being any more of a nerd than you normally would be by playing the game. Maybe you need to go look at this list the game gives you?

Now, keeping in topic with the thread... Yes, Brute Wyverns are annoying, and yes they're pretty dumb. Despite this, I still don't think that they're the stupidest monsters in the game - or the world - of Monster Hunter. I stick by what I said earlier.

That wasn't being rude? That was downright mean! I think that what AzureGreen said was completely called for. The last time I checked, it wasn't okay to insult someone for no real reason. So, why not be able to come back in the same way Roon did? Because if you didn't notice, not only did Roon lash out for no reason, but they purposely tried to hurt by saying that Azure was being "elitist", and completely insulting what she knows. Not too mention that Roon went to grade school level of insults by calling Azure a nerd.

Personally, I think that Roon should have understood what Azure was saying. There wasn't an attack or an insult of any type towards Roon. I was completely taken back at how Roon replied. I don't know who pissed in their Wheaties, but surely that wasn't grounds enough for a response like that.

Okay so Roon made a mistake. No big deal. Sure Roon may have responed in a way that was not appropriate, but if the insult of "being a nerd" was such a grade school thing, Azure should have been able to shrug it off and not let it bother him/her (Sorry idk your gender). Let's just move on.

So on topic. I think Nibelsnarf is pretty derpy. The placement of its eyes just bothers me. Gypseros is also a derp. It just flails around chasing you.

The Nibelsnarf is probably the derpiest looking monster. As for the derpiest acting..... I'm not sure. A lot of the monsters like to just stop when they are low on health. It makes me feel like they forgot something so important that they don't care about the various painful things obliterating them. I don't think I can choose one.

when you get your ass kicked for 10 - 25 minutes straight to the point where your body is just running off of adrenaline and your being killed slowly,

i'm pretty sure you would have no energy & need to stop and take a breather, too.
