First topic message reminder :

I'mm shaking from excitement, I honestly have NEVER been this ecstatic about a new Pokemon game

I have fond memories of Red and Blue, I smile when I remember Christmas at my Great Grandmas house with Gold and Silver with like five of my cousins, I remember excitedly telling my aunt an Uncle about Ruby and Sapphire while holding a gaming magazine, I remember being so pissed when I lost my DS on a bus and couldn't get Diamond and Pearl, and I remember watching the Japanese release of Black and White, watching each batch of Pokemon, speculating with people about the starter Evos, etc

But never, NEVER has my jaw dropped, my whole torso shake, my heart race, and my hands clench when watching an announcement for a Pokemon game.

I can't begin to wrap my head around the amazing things I saw during that live video, I just cannot wait for more information, for more new Pokemon, for the INTERNATIONAL release of these gorgeous 3D games

Also, congrats Vort. I want to know how you stuffed em in the Box's though. And Ver, I have a Keldeo.. In the Mystery Dungeon game. Same w/ Meloetta :P.

Boxes fit around 1000 pokemon. Bank fits 3000. I put my living dex in the bank, the rest are competitive battlers in my X version.

The JPN section means you've received that Pokemon native from Japan and can view its information in Japanese in the Pokedex. That's basically it for all the region things in the Pokedex, as far as I know, for anything that could be special about them :/
I haven't played any Mystery Dungeon games except Blue, but having a Pokemon on there's different from on Diamond/Pearl, X/Y, the Pokemon games with elite four and all that, from what I understand. I don't know if the three can be found in the Mystery Dungeon games simply in this one dungeon or another (if you have those two, probably yes), but the only legit way to get them on the other games is events, as I've been told.
I mean, if anyone knows otherwise, I'm open to hear it. This was just something I was told, and I got the three through trading, anyway, not myself from an event.

Caught a shiny Smeargle yesterday... I'm considering doing the radar method now with every break I take from that mansion in the game to allow the people inside it to change.

I got the Keldeo in the newest one, the new one for the 3DS, infinite time or whatever? They come near the end of the game when you have to fight Kyurem, you also get Meloetta by building her Musical thing in the Paradise. I also got Virizion, but not the other ones. Although I think I have ran across one of em.

I switched to just the radar method for a while yesterday and caught an orange shiny Flabebe... I'll be lucky if I catch the other colors of them shiny ">.>
I'm going to get back to also training at the mansion, since I should be doing that more for my party, anyway. With my Regirock at ninety-seven and the others ranging from seventy-six to ninety-two in level, just using the radar method is going to take a while to max their levels.

I swear to god. I had to get Garchompite THREE times cause the game doesn't save when I get it. That is SO annoying. I found a Druddigon and Lickitung in one of those tries and caught it. Also got a Lombre. Haven't seem them at all in the others. Like, I seriously have to go to Victory Road, go through the annoying Pokes, battle a couple of trainers I avoided before, reach the tower you'd see it at, set the time between 8 and 9 PM, go back in the game, and get it. 3 times. I also got my Zorua egg too.. -.-

There's a Battle Mansion? o.o What? Is it that thing where you earn ranks and stuff? Lol, that place barely helped my Garchomp and Drapion when they were level 40. :/

fastest levelling is with lucky egg, exp power 3, and a black writ of challenge at the mansion. amulet coin and gold writ of challenge if you want money as well. (now that i think of it, i have like 3 million pokedollars)

Any clue why it isn't saving? That sounds bizarre to me, but, then again, I don't even change my 3DS's time for daylights savings, so if that's the reason, I wouldn't know. Unless it's the same problem a friend was having with I believe their Pearl game, but it wouldn't save at all for her, period :/
Yeah, the place where you rank up's the one I'm talking about, Battle Chateau. I'm a Grand Duchess, the highest rank, so the gym leaders, elite four, and the champion all have a chance to show for me. Just a heads up, as you rank up, the higher ranked people have higher leveled Pokemon. I have opponents showing from time to time with Pokemon levels 45-60, along with the usual 15-40 ones.
So, yeah, I don't like going through the elite four repeatedly to train, so I prefer the Chateau.

I don't really do the writ stuff there, to be honest, but I've been using the amulet coin for cash and the exp powers. I mean, I'm going into the Chateau, facing a few people until either my first Pokemon's low on attack points, low on health, or gets knocked out (this I try to avoid), then going to the center to heal before doing radar for a bit and returning to the Chateau.
I guess you could say my goals are multiple at once right now, like how I'm hoping to find someone with a Donphan or Phanpy I can evolve tonight at my university's video game club, since Donphan's the last Pokemon I need to complete my Pokedex... If I just do one thing, I'm more likely to get bored and just not do anything on the game and switch games or take a break from my 3DS :/

you should do black writ of challenge, it raises the trainers in the chateau's levels so you can actually level up your pokemon quickly instead of slow as hell. exp share, take a level 100 pokemon to make sure you dont lose, that's all you need.

I had no idea about that. And I didn't really want a spoiler on the highest rank.. x-x

But, to any people who don't know. The April Friendly Competition Sign Ups are today through April 27th, but there's a player limit. So ye, maybe I'll see one of ya.

Sorry about that, but at least I didn't say any of the details, right? Just a level warning I'm sure you caught onto already, that the opponents get higher leveled Pokemon as you go ^^"

I have no clue what that is, but it doesn't sound like something for me, no offense to anyone... I don't even battle others through Wi-Fi, if that says anything /pokr/

Caught a shiny Illumise on the way to my grandparents' house Friday. Didn't get anything yesterday, but I'm still going to keep trying. Won't get anything if you don't, after all cat

^No prob, I've got it handled, the radar spot finding and doing cat
But, after you defeat the Elite 4, you go talk to this guy on the second floor of the professor's lab (I believe that's the one in his lab) and he gives you the radar. To use it well, you should find a patch of grass or flowers that's at least a 9x9, though I've found a good spot that has enough grass in it that isn't in a neat square that works. Basically, a spot with lots of grass. You cannot use your roller blades or bike, so you have to use that direction pad that's the plus shape (yes, I'm great with the terms for things xD) in order to keep your person on foot. If you even accidentally switch to roller blades, it'll break your chain.
More about Radar:

But, yeah, that's what I thought of off the top of my head to share about it cat
*Edit: Also, you've got to either catch or defeat the Pokemon you encounter. Running from battles breaks chains, too.

To be honest, I never did try the radar, too much of a hassle to even try.  I already got a lot of shiny pokemon without its help.  6 legits, to be exact.
