I didn't know quite where to post this because I have Freedom for the PSP, but I was looking for anyone else that had it who has Ad Hoc Party as well because I'm looking for people to play with in the Guild Hall.

My impressions of this game would be that it is very very hard! The difficulty setting is indeed very hard as minions seem to pack quite a wallop and constantly get in the way of hunting the monsters. I find I need to create and bring plenty of flash bombs to stun them so that I can focus on the main monster.

Monster Hunter franchise have a pretty steep learning curve, but the game itself isn't that hard when you actually get what to do : )

Trust me, Freedom is much more difficult than current ones, I'm G rank on Unite, yet I haven't even gotten to high rank on Freedom.
For example, the first Gypceros quest, I thought "I beat this easily on Unite, I should do fine" and then I found out why I used to find it so hard, 5 Freaking Bullfangos in almost every zone, and when you kill them off, the Gypceros flies to another Bullfango infested zone.
And Kirins? Kill them in 8 mins with Heavy Bowgun on Unite. On Freedom? Carted every quest.

Hence why I'm looking for people to help me in the Guild Hall so I can get better gear. What was pretty substandard, starter gear in Unite is so much more powerful in Freedom I've found. I really want to make some Yian Kutku armor but the minions are always very intrusive. I do fine with the monsters, it's the minions that have been my biggest issue. I guess the good thing is that I have become better at the other Monster Hunter games because of how difficult Freedom is.

Well, I might be on Ad Hoc today to play Freedom. I'm still only hr1 and have only Lows Rank Rathian but I did unlock my Double Diablos Urgent. If you need to grind in the Guild just look me up. i'll let some of my Ad Hoc buddies know to expect either of you.

I'm currently playing Freedom, actually. Since three days ago!.... it is HARD.

With the quest at the start where you have to collect a wyvern egg, while Rathalos is patrolling around... he wasn't actually the problem. However, getting up that latch and have all those velociprey jumping, biting, clawing, shitting all around me so badly that it's unable to actually pick up an egg without dropping it. AGH, went all crazy and just swung the Greatsword around all the time until those suckers were GONE. >:T

Sadly though, I cannot play together with you on Freedom. I'd love to, but my PSP does not allow this ): It'd be an interesting game to play together with others!

I'll have to look around for my copy of MHFreedom, if so I'm down to play with you. Is it just me, or did MH get easier through each game?

Nah not really, the games have just stopped relying on cheap ways to raise difficulty.

Finally found the thread about MHF. This game is hard because there so many broken hitbox IMO. Also, the ability of the weapon is too limited, like the GS has no charge ability. Farming is also very limited that is hard to gather enough pots to keep you going. I finish the game a long time ago, however, I lost the memory card last year so i had to start all over again D:. that being said I am interested to play again so PM, my available is limited but ill try to meet up for the hunt.I am currently 3* village quest but I am currently wearing Yian Guruga Armor with guruga SNS. it took me a lot of effort to get enough mats to make the weapon and armor alone not to mention a depleted supplies of pots/well-done meats......
