Hmmm... Is that a challenge? I didn't check, but has someone soloed the Cruel King? I soloed every normal G rank monster, but I am not sure the same can be said for the event ones. Going for a solo Event Stygian tonight just to see.

| Please report here on your solo-run. I solo pretty much entire game, every quest in port except some event ones, Cruel King etc. It's difficulty is just ridiculous... | |

find me again Vort and I'll happily go through them with you (pretty sure I sent you a friend request the other night) also with the old Granny, I still haven't seen her selling armor stones, I thought that was part of the DLC. Am I missing something?

My assessment is that it's not any harder than normal Stygian, it just has higher health and attack stats. I just have had the unfortunate case of finding only people with non-maxed out weapons that cart a lot.

| Box Hoarders...it never fails! It doesn't matter what game it is you get Low Ranks who selfish nab all the items out of the box without asking if it's okay to take all the supplies. Just because I'm G Rank doesn't mean that I like using up my own supplies. It is also indicative of the warning that said players haven't spent the proper amount of time stocking themselves with enough of their own supplies of their own and are the kinds who may fail quests because they did not anticipate that the higher you go the less supplies you'll be given.
Had several disappointing Ivory Lagi hunts this morning because of ill prepared people. No, it's not fun to use up your stuff in a vain attempt tp keep their health up because they are reticent to heal. I guess I'm going to go play Skyrim a bit and kill things for the Night Mother.

Personally, I go to the Tundra during a high-rank Gigginox quest with the Willuminator LBG and some fire shells. I mine the points, kill the Giggi and I am done well under 5 minutes with over a dozen earth crystals per run (Average about 15-20 per run). I love getting revenge on Giggi for having to learn him early on my playtime.... hated his poison.

| I've been using the LR Tundra to get earth crystals as well, just doing the harvest tour and getting around a dozen per go. Cause I've been watching a bunch of SG1 lately I've been collecting earth crystals while watching that, can get about 80 or more during the one episode. Also, finally had Granny stocking armor stones over the w'end, so now can finish upgrading all the sets I have | |

| I think I just found the bane of my existence in Black Diablos. Took me 36 minutes because I ran out of Potions, Mega Potions, and Herbs, and had to resort to running all the way back to base camp.
Thank god I got the Blackcurl Horn I needed for Despot's Boltbreaker.

The best, quickest, and most efficient way is to farm Moga Woods at NIGHT.
- Grab Mega Pickaxes (mats to make more if you wish)
- Gatherthing+2 and Speed Gatherer (Leather Armor gemmed for
Gathering +2 works fine)
- Go to Area 4 (cave)
- Mine every single node you see, all you have to do is run in a circle. Loop around multiple times untill there isnt any more left. Return to Village, Repeat.
You can get up to 100 Earth Crystals under 45 minutes.

You can get up to 100 Earth Crystals under 45 minutes. Best friends forever, even if I wasn't coming here for that advice. I'll have to do that sometime when I'm not grinding Diablos. Ugh. Diablos. He won't give me what I need. I keep getting Majestic Horn in the rewards, and I'm trying to make his G-Rank armor. Come on, Diablos. Desire sensor or not, you need to take pity on me at some point. I'm sick of having my armor complete but for two pieces that I need your stupid Hardhorn for.
