As I am looking to buy either one of either the 3ds or the wii u I really would like to know the pros and cons of both versions to help me decide can some also include the circle control pad pro

Second question I know the tri servers are shutting down on the 30th of Aprill but I heard someone saying there shutting down earlier is this true ????

Many thanks to all who reply in advance

3DS

Pros: Pocket-sized Portable/On-the-go

Cons: Does not have Online co-op, Must buy a Pad-pro to be able to play it like Wii U.

Wii U

Pros: Has Online co-op, Has larger vision depending on screen size. (Television sold separately)

Cons: Is not Pocket-sized Portable/On-the-go, Must have TV and wireless internet connection in order to enjoy its pros.

I really like the 3DS and its access to all menus.

My friends play with CC pro's so their gamepad for the wiiU just sits on its cradle doing nothing.

On the 3ds i have all my needed stuff right on my lower screen. I have an XL though so the space is bigger BUT its just scaled.

BUT base your decision on who you want to play with. For me i have 4 friends with WiiU's and 4 friends with 3ds's and some have both. We commonly hang out so we do a lot of local play so i went with 3DS XL and will probably grab a wiiU later.

But if you can only play with people online then go with the WiiU hands down.

I'd say to go with the Wii U version if you dont know more than 1 people IRL who also plays the game. It's really nice to play online with friends or randoms, you will find some really nice people : ) Also, you dont need to buy a Circle Pad Pro. I myself are enjoying my MH3U pretty good without it thou on my 3DS, gotta love em bows. The game also looks beautiful on Wii U.

There will also come a patch so that you can play the Wii U-version on the gamepad, so TV wont be necessary ^.~

Wired connection is actually option as well, you made it sound like wireless or hit the road. Wired is actually probably the better way to go if you're router is close enough.

3DS Pro's: Crossplay with WiiU! Save data transfer so when you are home you can play on your home TV.

WiiU Pro's: Crossplay with 3DS! Save data transfer so when you are on the go you can transfer it to you 3DS to take your game with you.

Cons: Decepticons are in a different game and though really awesome you should just get both versions of MH3U!
