| So I've been trying to decide on what armor set I want to use in G rank with my greatsword. I would like to have: Sharpness +1, earplugs, focus and crit draw but I don't think it's possible to get them all.
The Selene Z armor set looked like a good place to start with high grade earplugs, and sharpness +1 with 8 open slots that I could use to grab crit draw with, but then I'd lose out on Focus.
If you guys are running any cool greatsword armor sets that allow you to get these skills, please share!
The other thing I was wondering is what greatswords do you guys think are the best this time around?
It looks like the best way to go about it is to build the most powerful greatsword for each element and then just switch based upon what you're fighting, unlike in MHFU where I generally just ran with the King Atillart with it's stupidly high raw damage.
Thanks! | |

| It's possible, but you need some really good charms for it. For example: Rhenoplos Helm X Helios Mail Z Grand Yamato Kote Helios Coil Z Helios Greaves Z ----------------- +5 Handicraft OO- ----------------- 1x Charger Jewel 3 2x Draw Jewel 2 2x Charger Jewel 1 1x Earplug Jewel 1 586 Max Defence Skills: Crit Draw, Focus, Earplugs, Sharpness +1 Most of the sets that came up in Athena's ASS needed either a Handicraft +3 OOO, Handicraft +4 OOO or Handicraft +5 OO- charm. http://forums.minegarde.com/topic/5304-athenas-armor-set-search-for-mh3g-and-mh3u/Really handy program for when you want to make any armor set. | |

| There are many good sets similar to this i.e - Spoiler:
And you don't need very good charms for this. It's very basic set, few pieces put together. All tables feature Fastcharge+5 or +4 with slots. Even one cursed table lol

Thanks! Hi Dark, i use all weapons but my specialty is greatsword. You pretty much answered the question yourself, thats exactly what I do. I aim to make all of the strongest GS's with each element and one with huge raw damage. Also, I go for gs's that also have slots in them to help make armor skills. if you are looking for some good armor combo's, u need 2 slots in the gs in some cases. remember tho, GS is known for it's high raw damage, the element is just an extra bonus to have.
