so I'm curious as to what others have in their pouch when going hunting. I tend to keep the same basics in there all the time, and grab extra things as needed. My basic (blademaster) kit is:

Mega potions
Whetstones
Well done steaks
Max potions
Demondrugs
Armorskins
Demontalon
Armortalon
Potions
Honey
Health horn
Lifepowder
Paintballs
Tranqs
Shock trap
Pit trap
Dung bombs

Which leaves me almost a page left for quest specific stuff (hot / cold drink, antidote etc.) and whatever I carve during the quest.
It's also more than I used to carry in Tri, when I didn't usually bother with tranqs / traps, or lifepowders.

This is pretty much the same as me, though I usually pack some bombs, depending on the hunt, to sleep bomb when the monster's exhausted and rests

I really don't bring much unless I plan on bombing or capturing a monster, or if I'm having a hard time for some reason. If I plan on doing a gathering run I just bring the potions and gathering tools.

and the rest

cheers people, I had the feeling I was carrying more than most people, though most of it is just habit these days, I haven't even been using demondrug / armorskin that often anymore, pretty much just with the elder dragons.

a little surprised more people don't use health horns, I like them for those little top ups where it'd be a waste to use a mega potion. the potions I use to combine into megapotions when needed, thought that's what most people would do but noticed a few who've got potions and no honey.

Just seeing this thread I realise I carry waaayyy too much supplies

Potion(x10)
Mega Potion(x10)
Antidote(x10)
Deoderant(hunting sure works up a sweat :P)
Cleanser
Lifepowder
Max Potion
Ancient Potion
Armortalon
Powertalon
Sonic bombs
Flash bombs
Tranq Bombs

Depending of my target monster I change my supply cashes to suit my needs along with bombs, extra potions, and stamina recovery items, always like to be prepared for something but with enough space for monster carves

I try to pack light when I can. Also, I'm VERY prone to forgetting to reload, especially when I go on easy hunts over and over, like when I'm on a Rathian-killing spree to get armor/weapon parts, so I usually screw myself over when I move on and have to finish a hunt with barely any supplies.

When I remember, I usually bring:
10 Potions
10 Mega-Potions
5 Power Juices when I'm using Dual Blades, 10 Energy Drinks for anything else
10 Well-Done Steaks
5 Mega Pickaxes
20 Whetstones
1 Farcaster in case I get in a rough spot
10 Antidotes or Deodorants as needed
10 Poison Smoke Bombs when I go bug-hunting
Pitfall/Shock traps when I plan captures, along with at least 5 Tranq Bombs in case I miss a throw or two
