| Desire sensor still active. Now you just will not get the other materials you need until a few more hunts down.::trollface:: | |

| The desire sensor has been much more forgiving this time around. Instead the farm is constantly demanding maintanence in the form of item tribute. So I find myself occasionally grinding the monster most convenient towards whichever armor set I am trying to make moreso to look for parts that I can convert to res points.
Farming Dragon Toadstools is much more painful in TU than in Tri.
Rather, I think this game is more subject to first order farm maintanence than to the desire sensor.

| AHAHAHAHA, no. See, this is how the desire sensor gets you. It lets you build your hopes up, lets you feel good. Makes you start to think "Oh hey, maybe I'll start having better luck from now on!"
Then it destroys you. It takes everything good and pure in the universe and defecates on it, then serves it up to you on a silver platter as a sorrowful reminder of what used to bring joy to your life. Occasionally it will let a person be happy, but this is only to further mock it's victims into a state of pure rage and despair.

| Hmm, I'm not looking forward to how much trouble I'm going to have later on. In my first 3 Rathalos runs, I got two plates. Once I got to high rank, my first high rank quest (after the P. luddy urgent of coarse) gave me a bird wyvern gem. I'm going to have a lot of trouble on G rank armors... | |

| There is one way to defeat the Desire Sensor, but it might be more difficult than any of us have imagined (especially since we are all mortals.)
Simple. Never desire another monster piece again. Be happy with what you get, and go after it again!

| Friend of mine, was gettin dark dragon gems almost every ceadus hunt we did, literally, 1-3 each time, I however were getting none.
Tables turned when I got 500 dragon bloods and he had none..
Oh lets not mention the fact a majestic horn i believe has 40% drop chance, and I've yet to find one out of about 10 diablos'.
Works good. | |
