PostMonster Hunter Online announced today!

Hi Folks,

Iīm new and so on and so forth. Here the cool stuff:

Monster Hunter Online got announced today. Sadly it is just an announcement for Asia, but there has been no denial of a western version either. We should all pray for a western release Yes by vort

On a screenshot I found what could be either a new weapon type or a very fancy version of the SnS Sword. Just the guy right in the middle of the picture with the weird saw like weapon:

Here the official trailer:

Some screenshots on a french website: jeuxonline.info/actualite/39830/tencent-up-2013-capcom-tencent-annoncent-monster-hunter-online

Here is the official website: mho.qq.com/main.shtml

Edit: because I am new I am not allowed to post direct links. Sry for that.

In a press release issued last week, we stated that the upcoming Monster Hunter Online from Tencent Games and Capcom would be released 'internationally'. This information was in contrast to official communications from Tencent Games, who only confirmed the release of Monster Hunter Online for the Chinese market at a recent promotional event.

As stated by Tencent Games, Monster Hunter Online is only officially confirmed for release in China, and we would like to apologize for any confusion caused by our stating otherwise.

It is Free to Play. It does have cash shop/P2W. It is not coming to the west.

Lets move on.

It is coming to the west, we said that m3G wouldn't come but it did, there is no reason to believe why not, capcom WANTS to release mh games in the west and the only reason mhp3rd didn't come was because sony are dicks, as far as I know there has been no mentioning of a cash shop, just because you don't like something doesn't mean everyone should hate it.

Ok in response 3 things to say;
1) I'm pretty sure that MH3U was slated to make a western appearence very early on from its reveal.
2) keep in mind that this is a another PC Monster Hunter. In the east frontier does immensly well enouigh due to it's huge faandom and the fact that there is a high pecentage of people willing to pay-to-play. Even with this being F2P and with capcom wanting to venture out more into the west via nintendo partnership, I would highly doubt we would see a huge step in the MH fraanchise like this so early on.
3) Crytek already re-released that Capcom has no intentions for this game to be coming out to for a western release yet. So looks like y'all just gotta wait for MH4 for your next MH-fixations.
