Tru Armor Spheres/Armor Stones

Anyone know the best way to get Tru Armor Spheres.

I get about 2 every volcano run and one time I got 6.

I got 2 last night for HR8 quest and noticed a group called "Tru ARm Sp" - NIbelsnarf.

Does Nibelsnarf give you a bunch of armor spheres?

Anyone know the best monster to farm to get these stupid things or Armor Stones so I can make Tru spheres....?

As far as I have seen, there are no "easy" ways to get Tru Armor spheres, or Armor stones. You have to get lucky.

Give a treasure Map to your fishing crew (max level), whenever they say "We made a few adjustments and can travel somwhere new". Then send them to the 4 star location. They have a chance of getting your Armor stones.

The G-rank quests of 8* or 9* also have a chance at giving your tru armor spheres as a reward, but none "guaranteed". They probably mentioned "nibblesnarf" to give people an idea of what they are hunting, but not because it has a higher chance at that particular reward.

Only in the volcano area can you mine Tru Armor spheres. Also, if you are going to a group that will head out to the volcano, it is always a good idea to try to get "Explorer" as one of your cat skills. My 2 Cents.

I'd say you're pretty lucky if you get 2 Tru armor spheres per run. You should be grateful. I rarely see 1 per run. Few days earlier i mined for 3 hours and get only 6 overall. Upgrading set to full is really pain in the ass to me, that's why i only have 1 set fully finished.

The easiest way to get them for me is doing the 6*, and 7* advanced quests. I usually get 2-3 per advanced quest. Sometime less, but most of the time I get a few. If you do the right quests, with the right group, you can even finish them in about 10 minutes.

Just get them while you're doing quests. No real point trying to get true armor spheres explicitly since the difference between 330 => 360 def or 600 => 650 def is negligible.

There will be a DLC later on where granny sells armor stones, so just wait for that.

The Nibelsnarf quest sounds like the "Maw" arena quest. Gives often TAS.
