Dual brachy urgent

I have no trouble with brachy himself, but it is taking me 30 minutes to slay one. This doesn't leave me time to kill the second. For those of you who soloed this quest please advise on how to deal the damage needed to finish in time.

I generally use LS. I have not upgraded my plesioth sword as I hate soloing green plesioth. Maybe I need to to finish in time

I'm guessing the majority of the time you're busy running/healing when he's enraged. Simple strat is. When ones enraged go for the other. And when that one gets enraged go back to the first one. Rinse repeat till they're both dead.

If that doesn't work then get better.

Green Plessy is a joke with a normal or pierce hbg.

You're obviously having trouble if you can't kill a g rank brachy with HALF his health within 15 minutes with rank appropriate gear. Are you hitting him constantly? What is your strategy when you face him?

Getting the Biology Skill helps a lot to prevent him from comboing you to death with 2 hits. Evade Distance Up and Evade +1/2 is also very useful.

Bring Dung Bombs to ensure you fight only 1 at a time. Besides the fact that there are 2 of them it's exactly like fighting 1. Just run around when 2 are in the area and Dung them.
I killed them without too much help, but if you have trouble with him bring plenty of helping materials, like Traps, Flash Bombs and Might Phills + Might Seeds. Using Armor Phills + Armor Seeds will keep you on your feet when he rages. When you need to do a lot of refilling (sharpening, restoring stamina bar, healing) just leave the area. Dash Juice is very useful as it allows you to roll his slime off without worrying about stamina.

Generally, it's best to hit and run instead of comboing. Cutting his tail asap will leave his 360 Tail Swing almost useless and unable to hit you, just stay between his legs. His attack generally have quite a long cooldown, allowing you to get some hits off, but always be careful, especially when he combos his horizontal punch into his vertical ground punch, this often caught me off-guard. Stay close but not too close, about 1 or 2 rolls away from him, granting you enough time to evade his long-range attacks but close enough to attack in openings. Then just circle around him and attack his legs. If you can really time your staggers, stagger him outside of rage-mode. He doesn't fall over in rage mode, so just a reminder.

Lastly, 2 things: if they are in the same area and 1 refuses to leave, try to steer them into each other. They are affected by slime, meaning they can actually trigger slime on each other and deal some serious damage. You should still avoid fighting them both at the same time, but this is just a tip.
Finally, if you can't beat the first one under 25 minutes, quit and try again. The second one will generally be easier because of the damage they did to each other, but just in case the first one was a weak one and the second one is strong.

I got it done. My first run I used 3 pots and ran out of time. I decided to be more greedy with hits and killed both by about the 40 mark. Used nearly all my pots though. Thanks for the advice. As I farm for parts I will prob use the hunt the non-enraged brachy just to make it easier.

For anyone else having trouble with it, I strongly suggest picking up Volvdion X armor and upgrading the Plesioth dual swords to the 2nd last upgrade. Having the high mobility, good offence and anti-brachydios skills (evade, tremor res, bio master) helps out tons.

Also Dross I'm guessing by non-enraged brachy you mean the single hunt?
IMO you should focus on improving at the dual quest, it's much better for farming parts, especially Palliums.

Hey, I just did this one on the w'end as well, took me a few goes. Doing it offline using the Harmethyst SnS.

1st go, failled about 30 min in.

2nd go, captured the first around 20 min in, with a few mintues left I get the 2nd limping, wait for him to change areas before setting trap, it of course was waiting for me when I came in after it and charged me... ran out of time :/

3rd go, almost a rerun of the 2nd attempt, got the 2nd limping with a few minutes to go, got the trap down but was behind it when it hit the trap, only managed to get one tranq in before it busted out of the trap, cue much swearing etc. but kept bashing away and killed it with 28 sec left on the clock :D
