| Hey, I have a few questions for those who know how to play mhfu online. I was thinking about posting this in the help are but I dont really need 'help'.
Firstly, whats the deal about xlink kai? Even after going to their site and browsing around, I am still extremely confused with forwarding ports and this and that, so I was wondering, is there someone who can actually explain it in a way for someone like me to actually understand it?
Secondly, I heard that you can use a ps3 to play mhfu online. Is this true? and if anyone knows, How?
Thanks, Much appreciated. | |

| Yes, with a PS3 you can download a program called Ad-hoc party. With a WIRED connection and Ad-Hoc party, you can connect your PSP to the PS3 using the PS3 to go online with MHFU. | |

| Alternatively, search online for a program called MHPTunnel, plenty of guides to go around also. | |

| I am not going to hack my PSP. Too many risks, sorry. So I guess that means I have to invest in a 50$ ps3 :D
Edit: Zeek, I've played the game for a bazillion hours without any hacks, and would prefer to do so for a bazillion more. I got my PSP when I turned 10, so it has sentimental value to me, and I'm not willing to, no matter how small the chance, let it brick, it already has a few problems. Eg: Not turning on, suddenly turning off, and not being able to read umds.
So concerning the PS3, how many people play mhfu and mhf1 on it? approximate guess? just wanting to see if Its worth the money.

| PS3 is a good option. Not only can you use Ad-hoc party just for MHFU but if your interested in any other multiplayer PSP games, you can use it to play online and meet up with friends, not to mention you now have a PS3 which has awesome features ^.^
PM me if you need any help setting up Ad-hoc party when you get one.
