| Well not knowing what the crimson peco could possibly call I neglected to bring along dung bombs. Little did I know that that bloody bird brought a deviljho into the picture/o_o/. So will qurupecos from now on be even more difficult to fight if I can't sonic bomb or flinch them? | |

| From High Rank on, Peco tends to call Jho quite frequently. Also, this: | |

| Oh jeeze haha. though the picture is weirdly accurate. I have only been playing MH since tri and only offline so I am Kind of apprehensive against going up against deviljho. | |

| I happen to love Jho. He tends to hurt the other monsters a lot of you don't catch his attention, typically breaking a part or two in the process.
Besides, if you get decent enough HR equipment, he's not that hard to fight, since a lot of his attacks miss. But judging from where you are, I'd just keep away for a while until later.

| Volvidon S is amazing for jho. If you get an evasion +5 talisman or an attack +5 talisman you can get Evasion +2, AUL, and Tremor Res | |

| I freaked out the first time the Jho showed up fighting C.Peco. I've made sure when doing that mission again that I had plenty of dung bombs available. We make sure when he shows up that we paint him and run him off as quickly as we can. That way we can keep an eye on him, but can focus all our attention on the peco. I'm not quite ready to take on a Jho just yet. | |

| One good thing, the quest where you fight Peco and Crimson Peco in the arena, neither can summon Deviljho ^.^ | |

Its all about always being at a 90 degree angle of them. Even at the slowest pace possibly, if you are next to them, just go in a circle... they can never get you, and it opens them up for attack the moment they finish. Edit: also, they tell you how many times they are going to jump. If they hit their flints once, they will do 2 jumps, if they hit their flints twice, they will do 3 jumps.

| To be honest, I had the same issue when I went to fight Crimson Peco. I had Jho on my ass the entire time, and it was really difficult to outmaneuver him while trying to simultaneously thrash the Peco. However, an easy way to make that all work is simply bringing a pitfall trap and dunking the Peco as soon as you notice Jho is drooling. Should either net you some massive damage or an easy kill over all - besides that, I find that buying tinged/drugged/poisoned meat from the old lady is a good idea. Stocking up on the stuff and then setting it down when you encounter Jho ( when not enraged ) can give you enough time to continue getting in the hits that you're going to need to scare the Peco off out of the area, and if not that, a few hits to ( highly unlikely ) scare off the Jho.
Backing up a bit though, Jho is a push over if you have the right equipment and mind set. Evasion or very high Dragon Res will help you out, on top of a dragon element weapon ( easy to get with leather armor in the Volcano and 5 mega pick axes ). Just get a Rusted weapon, upgrade it as high as you can and go apeshit on all the dragon-weak monsters you fight, Jho included. Makes the Peco fights ( and all other fights ) much easier.

| It's strange that I have learnt that High rank and G-Rank Pecos actually summon Deviljho, and summon them frequently, on the forums rather than from my many Peco hunts...
Kinda making me ask myself how that has occurred. Especially as I attempted to make Crimson Peco extinct on G-Rank rather recently...

| I remember having trouble due to the Jho beating the crap out of me when it got summoned; so I just have up and killed the jho, and then killed the C. Peco. | |
