No g rank in mh4

So yeah... I know believe we won't see mh4 release anytime soon. At least not until mh4G

I don't understand how a lack of G rank hints at it not getting released here in any way, if anything, we actually have a pretty good chance of getting MH4 since 3U sold pretty well here.

well, we always kinda knew that much. as the first game in the generation never had a G rank. also we got tri which had no G-rank, we got monster hunter freedom which had no G-rank... and for both games we got the G-versions (3U and MHFU) too. so I don't see any reason why there shouldn't be a western release based on the leck of G-rank.

The original had no G-rank neither did freedom 2 I fail to see how G-rank will affect localization of a game

Tri had no G-Rank, released in the West.

G-Rank does not determing an MH games release. It is and has always been determined #1 by capcom and #2 by the company who's system it's on and the distributor. Which in both cases for #2 is nintendo who actively localizes many games. So it's pretty mych solely up to capcom but as stated both Tri and 3U sold well and the demand on the Capcom sites are quite high.

Now as far as G-rank. With the Addition of the UNknown Forest we basically have a "G-Rank" type quest area. Each time you complete a UF, Random Genorated Quest it increases in difficulty and the the level of rewards increase as well.

Also as you can hold up to 20 (i belive that's the number) RGQ's from streetpasses there will be quite a variety of monsters and gear to get.

So the lack of a stated G-Rank really doesn't matter so much in localization or challenge this time around.

No G-rank? That's fine with me. I don't need that rank to be able to enjoy it. I enjoyed Tri and Portable 3rd just as much as Ultimate and Unite!

I like to think that MH4 will release here, despite it not having G-rank. But until then we just gotta wait the nice little game 'o patience. Or they make a G version of the game and release it in the west. Just like they did with Tri.
