some of you might allready have seen this but for those of you who haven't and for those how want to discuss it's content I'll make this thread
besides of the new area, returning monsters such as Cepalos/drome, Monoblos, Diablos, Hermitaur,... and new subspecies for the newer monsters one thing springs into my eye: "Airial Co-op Attacks"! just after 1:40 into the video a hunter with a Hammer friendlyfires his fellow hunter into the air while in the air the other guy uses his GS to attack the Red Khezu and jump on his back. It's nice to finally see all that throwing around beeing put to good use.
also short after that it seems as if this one guy is hanging in the trees above that sleeping black tigrex. it seems they are putting even more focus on interaction with the environment.
also FRIGGING QUICK SAND are you KIDDING me!?!?!

looks really cool IMO. the subspecies looks really cool.
only thing i dont really like was the end "secret" monster... I'm really hoping that doesn't turn out to be the flagship monster... seems too close to rathian/rathalos.. hopefully I'll like it better once we know more.
This has been really good though, the last week or two I've been on a huge-ass MH high, and that new trailer was exactly what I needed, definitely made it more bearable!

They did mention a while back that MH4U will have more landscape interactions...
Also, it is looking like MH4U will be the most exstensive MH in the main series of games so far.. More areas, more monsters.. more just about everything. Will MHFu finally be dethroned?

Amazing. They bring back crabs! I'm sold. Also monoblos, finally.
Monster at the end is probably flagship of this game. Looks like rath predator/killer. I really like the idea.
Subs looks kinda obvious, looks like they suffer Barioth syndrome (ice->fire/desert). Hope they will come up with something creative instead of colour swap + new surroundings.Â
Hammer launcher fits imo perfectly with the main idea of 4 gen (jumping mechanics).

Seems closer to Nargacuga/Tigrex/Barioth if you ask me.

It'll be my first time fighting Cephadrome and Monoblos. Just a question: is the latter as nuts as Diablos? I wouldn't know, since I started on Tri.

in MHFU there was not too much difference in how the two behaved but i really hope the will alter monoblos' fighting stile a bit so they aren't the same monsters anymore.

^ It so far in the 3rd gen and what I have seen from 4th gen they have been trying to do just that with similar monsters. Making each one more distinct and having thier own fighting style and personality. With 4/4u having more interactions than previous generations and what looks to be a more advanced AI, I think they have been able to accomplish that even more and with the amount of monsters they would have to make them all behave differently to keep everything from becoming repetative.

don't exspect him to be completely the same. I am interested to see how a lot of the monsters get updated for 4U.

I'm a little worried about them not changing his scream/roar and leave it the same as blos. But let's hope that it's one little exception and you're right I really love to see him updated, Crabs as well.
