Well, today officially ends the entry submissions for the MH4U weapon contest and your chance to possibly have your design of one of the current 14 weapons from Monster Hunter in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate when it releases here in the west in early 2015...

Here's hoping one of our great members is the winner!

Now that we have no risk of some sneaky non-MH fan stealing our great ideas, o-Olet's have a little fun of our own!

My entry, the Atsatsoh (Navajo for Golden Eagle) Decided on an eagle motif and ran with that

My family members and friends had ideas too, and since I was on an Art binge from my design I drew up and had them submit those too

My stepdad's idea (after I told him there was a motorcycle weapon and what all the weapon types were)

Vagrant's Engine:

My second Mom's idea, she came up with it when I said one of the japanese weapons (that we're most likely trying to replace) was a Ice Charge Blade

Rime Skoldeks:

A friend of mine (who I am still trying to actually get into MH, maybe when 4U comes out) came up with this one

Techno Swax (he named it but idk what):

Last one I drew up (last minute too) roommate came up with this Insect Glaive, took me till Sunday morning to start drawing it though

Very nice.. Like the eagle look of your first weapon.. good design!

My weapon is a Great Sword called the "Mummy's Curse":

I did not add an description, because i thought it was quite self-explanatory (and i was too lazy to think about one)

Unfortunately the scan doesn't look as good as the real drawing as i used gel pens with a metallic effect that you don't see on the scan

I still like it! good job.
