Art programs on 3DS
For those who have not really taken the time to explore the "non-gaming" functions of the 3DS you may want take a look at whats there. (and remember the 3ds comes with it's own drawing pad and stop motion animation abilities)
There are several Art and animation programs available for use and many of which have online supported sites and the ability to transfer the created pictures from the 3DS SD card to the computer. The art can also be created in many cases in both 3D and 2D..
Some of the programs include:
Colors 3d: This is a simple "paint" like aplication that has multiple layers for 3d art and has it's own community. The art is uncensored aside from an option to lable it as mature content.

all hand drawn using the 3ds stylus.. The progran even give you the options to play a video of your art and others being drawn.
Inchworm is actually a dsi ware program but works well on the 3DS and they have plans for a 3ds version as well.
though it is mainly an "animation" program to make cartoons and stopmotion video:
it also has the ability to make large scale drawing pictures of up to 9,999x9,999 pixles and transfer them to the computer.
Petite computer is another nice program and while mostly used for computer programing and game creation on the 3DS many have used it for digital art creations and animation as well:

Comic Workshop
Comic workshop was originally released in Japan earlier this year as an "art Studio" program on the 3DS to creat full Mangas and wetern comics.
It comes with a huge assortment of choices from panel layouts to pencils and inks and colors to choose from as well as many premade options to work with including text.
With Comic workshop you can creat the stories you have always wanted regardless of skill level and share them with friend, family or the world... or just pick up someone elses comic and read that..
