MH4U Guild Quest Thread

For all the generic MH4U threads, we seem to be lacking this one. If you've got Guild Quests to share, or ones you may be looking for, post them here! Feel free to make plans and meet up with others by sharing Room IDs/passcodes to get these going around.

If you could keep your quest info at least in some semblance of order, it will be appreciated by everyone else for clarity purposes.

Anyone have a regular (not Ruby) High Rank Basarios quest?

I have a Basarios quest... but I got it at low rank, even though it is at G rank at the moment (Those added moves looks like it turned it into a different monster.)

I managed to find one after a lot of runs...

Anyone got one of the insanely good quests like blos or zin with right hand rajang...and for Greatsword rewards?

I'm planning to do some expeditions this morning. Anything you guys want me to look out keep for you?

Also, here's the quests I'm looking for - I'm not fussed about the level, just the monsters :p
- Chameleos, SnS Bias
- Oroshi Kirin+ Rajang, SnS Bias
- Ruby Basarios + Rajang, SnS Bias
- Brute Tigrex + Rajang, SnS Bias
- Zingore + Anything, SnS Bias (Zinogre's just an easy mechanical monster, so getting stuff from it'd be nice!)

Shagaru Magala does not drop Sea Emperor's Sword (GS), he drops the Flash model GS. As I discover what drops what, I will update this post. Stay tuned.

No he drops Sea Emperor's Sword as Beshackled relic. The list on the wikia for relics mention only Beshackled relics look (means 8, 9, or 10 rarity). You got Flash skin from Champion's or Venerable relic probably. I was puzzled at first the same as you, but than realised this and it all makes sense.

Wait what? but even the info at the top of the page says their info is incorrect, why would they say that?

Ok look. In MH4 the look (skin) of the weapon was determined by the monster appearance entirely. So Shagaru will ALWAYS give Sea Emperor's Sword no matter grade of the relic or anything. It was that simple.

Hovever in MH4G/4U everything changes as they present G rank GQ. Upon changing from high rank to G rank they shift the skin the monster drops. From G rank GQ you can get Venerable, Champion's and  Beshackled relics (Go look at the names after the quest ends, look for relics with question marks, they have names). Venerable and Champion's weapon relics which will turn into Flash GS. Beshackled weapon relics will turn into Sea Emperor's Sword.

They add info at the top of the page that their data is incomplete because they took the info straight from Japanese wiki that mention only Beshackled weapon relics (the best ones). The full list will be enormous, as it'll take all Battered, Seasoned, Venerable, Champion's, Beshackled into consideration so it's taking so much time to complete.

Anyone have Deviljho, Oroshi Kirin or Kushala Doara GQ (The higher the level, the better) with Original Series A-F armor bias? I'm wanting to make a set of Damascus/Damascus Death Stench armor.
It just looks so cool.

Anyone have a G Rank Stygian Zinogre with Long Sword? Preferably with a Chest armor bias?

Thanks to th8827, I now have armor pieces for each Damascus part. Sadly, I forgot that I'm using a female character and not a guy, so that Damascus waist looks horrible.

I also decided that Deviljho GQs are best for Damascus armor since both their Champion and Beshackled Armors give the "R" type (Which in the "Original Series A-F", gives Damascus armor pieces.). And getting Champion Armor is allot easier than getting Beshackled, especially in large quantities.

Not sure if I should try getting a different armor set from GQ or not. If I did, I'm not sure what armor type I'd go for.
