MH World: going for first Kirin hunt - good setup?

As I said in my topic title, I am going to try my first Kirin hunt (the five-star Optional quest, Gone in a Flash.)

I've been successful on my other hunts, but I've seen videos of Kirin's speed and electric attacks.

I wield/wear:

A Blazing Shotel I (only LS I have with the Fire Element)

Full Odogaron armor (upgraded to level 4)
A Fair Wind Charm (Attack Boost Level 1, Divine Blessing Level 1)
Ghillie Mantle

I just looked in my Equipment and found a full set of Kadachi armor - upgraded to level 5.
