Freedom Unite Online

I borrowed Monster Hunter Freedom Unite from my friend last year and I really enjoyed it. So much that I purchased one of my very own last month (best decision I made so far this year). I know that Monster Hunter has online hunting when you connect it to the PS3 or download the game off of Playstation Network. But does anyone knows if or when they will have the infastructure feature as a add-on download for the UMD version?
